  1. I am sure we will fill those positions eventually during this transfer period. It quite obvious that any decent player (Werbloom, etc.) will wait until mid-August to decide their next team. Throw in the fact that many players don't care to come and play in the s%$#! league that is Superleague and you can see why is it so hard to bring in top players.
  2. Additional friendly has been scheduled for Monday July 16. it will be against Dutch Eredivisie team De Graafschap at 15:30 EEST. I expect the 2nd string players to get playing time in that one.
  3. Did you guys consider the option that Lucescu never wanted Khacheridi transfer to happen? Khacheridi has been Ivan's wet dream for years due to Pontian roots. For me that's one of the wrong reasons to be signing players. And Ivan made several such transfers in the past. That's why I think he will stick with the proven Varela/Crespo duo for the two important games.
  4. Henrique is slowly becoming the next Jairo. Unfortunately. Pelkas has been very disappointing so far this pre-season. Also I would not expect any transfer acquisitions until the games with Basel are done.
  5. Rey played very well today and made several good saves. Too bad we gave up the cheap goal at the end. Next game on Sunday at 5:30 AM my time against Royal Antwerp. Not sure I will be getting up so early for that one.

  7. Mystakidis got out at 46th minute and came back in in the 64th minute.
  8. 85 teams will take part in next Greek Cup (2018-2019): 53 Amateur Cup Winners 16 Football League teams 16 Superleague teams Superleague teams will not enter the competition until Stage 4 which is the group stage. EPO just can't bring itself to abolish this stupid part of the Greek Cup. Final will take place on May 18, 2019 at OAKA Stadium
  9. Today's count: 6,211 (4,541 renewals, 1,670 new) I see us beating the 15,000 mark this year.
  10. Fixture list? They don't even know how many teams will play in the league next season and you expect a fixture list? Even the start of the 2018-19 season is not set in stone yet.
  11. That's assuming we are allowed to have fans at our games ...
  12. Canas was pretty good today. I think he will go with the proven Mauricio - Canas duo in the Basel games. Unfortunately I see Henrique not making the team.
  13. 2:1 final score. Massive lineup changes in the 72nd minute. Henrique missed a sure goal in 92nd minute.
  14. Forgot to mention. The games is streamed on Steaua's youtube channel:
  15. What a lame excuse by PAE PAOK. Novasport has no problem televising the game and since PAOK TV just uses their feed I see no reason why PAOK TV is not streaming the game. Anyway 2:0 in the 30th minute. 5. Vieirnha 10. El Kaddouri BTW Vierinha back to wearing no. 20 instead of last season's 88. Additionaly it appears that he's back on the Thessaloniki diet of gyros and souvlakia as he seems to have put on some wieght.
  16. They haven't even scratched the surface with the gangster.
  17. Looks like there were changes to our pre-season friendlies schedule. Our new confirmed friendlies for the second half of pre-seson training are: 09-July, 20:00 EEST: PAOK - Steaua Bukurest (Romania) - at Apeldron12-July, 19:00 EEST: PAOK - KAA Gent (Belgium) - at Marasingel15-July, 13:30 EEST: PAOK - Royal Antwerp (Belgium) - at Halderberge (early kick-off due to WC Final later in the day) There is a possibility that we will also play a game on July 16. Previously we were scheduled to play Al Taawoun on that day.
  18. How is Vermont Yianko? One of only 5 US states that I have not visited yet. As for the friendlies they mean nothing. The only games that count will be played on July 24 and August 1.
  19. Mauricio needs to stay unless Ivan brings in Natkho. I think Mauricio will have a great season if he stays. Same goes for El Kaddouri.
  20. I moved the above from the PAOK forums. Lazare can you help him out?
  21. Boston I moved your post to the Feedback section. Hopefully Lazarus can answer your problems.
  22. The team return to the base in Thessaloniki tomorrow. I think before they leave for the 2nd part of the training there will be some roster cleanup. I expect few loans to be announced. Also Prijovic will join the team, and it will be interesting to see if Warda joins as well. In the next set of games I expect lineups to be streamlined to start resembling the starting 11 for the Basel game. Even if we make transfers in the next few days, I don't expect those players to play against Basel.
  23. NOVA is not offering anything of such value. It's the crazy Syriza government that promises money through ERT to supplement the current NOVA money (that covers only 8 teams right now). They are doing that ahead of the general elections. It was revealed today at the SL emergency meeting that the money the idiot Vasiliadis promises are guaranteed for for just one year, which basically proves that it is just a pre-election gimmick. At least the SL owners had the brains to tell him to f... himself.
  24. I don't expect the team to show us anything in these early pre-season games. In the end some of these players will never play together again. The main thing is to be ready on July 24 against Basel.
  25. Like I said it was a problem with some internet providers which affected several Greek web site and probably included PAOK TV. Several Thessaloniki radio stations were down as well. They all came back about 10 minutes ago. Anyway the game ended in a 2:2 tie. Next game Monday against FC Nordsjaelland
