This makes it 8 Greek athletes will be taking part:
60 METERS HURDLES: Christos-Panagiotis ROUMTSIOS - OFKA Serres - 7.81 seconds (42/62)
HIGH JUMP: Antonis MERLOS - PAOK Thessaloniki - 2.27 metrers (12/12)
POLE VAULT: Emanouil KARALIS - Olympiakos Piraues - 6.17 meters (1/12)
LONG JUMP: Miltos TENTOGLOU - GS Kifisia - 8.25 meters (6/16)
TRIPLE JUMP: Andreas PANTAZIS - AO Megara - 16.75 meters (15/16)
60 METERS: Rafaela SPANOUDAKI - GS Ilioupolis - 7.25 seconds (34/56)
60 METERS: Dimitra TSOUKALA - PAS Protathliton Komotini - 7.29 seconds (36/56)
HEPTATHLON: Anastasia DRAGOMIROVA - AS Kentavros Halkidiki - 4,176 points (13/14)Looks like a lot of athletes are skipping the championships, which gives some of our athletes the chance to take part. For example Roumtsios was ranked 62nd before yesterday, but after cancellations he jumped to 42nd and ended up with a ticket to the world championship. Same situation in the 400 meters. Franks ended up in a qualifying spot too, but he committed to run the relay for Miami in the NCAA finals this weekend and informed SEGAS that he will not be available.

Either way Franks did not qualify. Thirty spots were available. The qualifying standard was 45.80, but 34 athletes ran under 45.80. Franks had a best mark of 45.83.
As of today our team for Toroun is:
HIGH JUMP: Antonis MERLOS - PAOK Thessaloniki - 2.27 metrers
POLE VAULT: Emanouil KARALIS - Olympiakos Piraues - 6.17 meters
LONG JUMP: Miltos TENTOGLOU - GS Kifisia - 8.25 meters
60 METERS: Rafaela SPANOUDAKI - GS Ilioupolis - 7.25 seconds
HEPTATHLON: Anastasia DRAGOMIROVA - AS Kentavros Halkidiki - 4,176 pointsAs you pointed out Antaeus7, Pantazis might get a wild card. We will find out tomorrow.
It's safe to predict that we will get 2 medals, but I am afraid none will be gold. Hope I am proven wrong. -

As far as I know, in this case Asteras B will be dissolved (there is no relegation to lower divisions) and can be replaced by another 'B' team if there is one that is interested to be formed. If there is interest, the qualifying criteria are the standing at the end of the season in the U19 Superleague.

I believe the government is footing around 12 mil to make improvements to the stadium which is in bad shape and needs a lot of work. They plan on changing all the seats among other things. Not sure how much PAOK will contribute financially. At a minimum we will have to pay rent to use the stadium.
It will be interesting to see how we are going to share the stadium along with PO Triglia Iraklis Fourni Venetis. For starters I would like to find out if the fake Iraklis will pay the same rent as PAOK.

This is the first step in order for PAOK to move to Kaftanzoglio. We are signing a contract to start using Kaftanzogloio from next season, but from what I heard that will not happen. At least not at the start of the season. Maybe mid-season. There is a lot work that needs to be done by the government to fix Kaftanzoglio to be ready and since the work is done by the Greek government, this could take forever.

0:0 final score.
-
And another one.
-
And Tsiftsis big save to keep us in the game.

Pana 1-4 up against Levadiakos. Seems we have another boring play-offs with the same teams as usual.
I prefer Panathinaikos in the playoffs. They can cut points from other teams that Levadeiakos would not.

Looks like Taison will be ready for Sunday. Meite and Kenny probably not. Giakoumakis will not play.

Big game on Sunday. Actually all three remaining games before the playoffs are important. I would be happy if we can get 7 points out of these games. Two wins and a tie against Olympiakos.
Good to see Konstantelias back in the lineup. Hopefully we can get Meite back as well for this game.

And Delias makes it 4:1

Rumors are that the rent that PAOK will pay for the use of Kaftanzoglio is going to to be paid on the game to game basis, and will be set at 22,000 Euro per game. Also it is reported that PAOK will pay to build several suites and also their own locker rooms.
