Whoever it is it will be another mediocre coach who will not have the balls to put his foot down to take control of the team. He will have to listen to the saboteurs that want their old buddies back on the teams. Expect Torosidis, Tzavellas and even Tziolis to be given their spots back.

Apparently Ferreira has decided take almost all the players to the second part of the pre-season training, which will give some players another chance impress the coach. The only absences are apparently the allready cut Deligiannidis, Markovski and Papadopoulos. All this according to SDNA.

The U21 NT will play a friendly against Germany in Zwickau on September 5. This is in preparation for the EURO qualifiers against Lithuania, Czech Republic and Scotland.

Tomorrow at 14:00 EEST, PAE PAOK will officially present the new coach Abel Ferreira at the Macedonia Palace hotel. The event is open only to accredited press (the scum of the earth), but will be presented live on PAOK TV.

PAOK athlete with special needs Stella Smaragdi broke the world record in triple jump with 9.95 meter during the Track and Field Panhellenic Championship for athletes with special needs. She also won the long jump competition with 5.21 meters.

It is reported that following a meeting between EPO president and Aggelos Anastasiadis the decision was made for Anastasiadis to be terminated as the coach of the national team. That includes his full staff (Basinas, Giannakopoulos, etc). It is also reported that they are already looking for a replacement from a foreign country (Spain, Italy or Italy).

Well Ferreira answered some of my question during the post game Q&A. He even sprung some surprises. He said that he wants a squad of 21 player + 3 players from U19 + 3 keepers. Then he went on saying that the three from U19 that will continue the preseason training are Gaitanidis, Tsiggaras and Michailidis (the CB that stayed behind in Thessaloniki during the first part).

After today's game it will be interesting who will Perreira cut from the second part of the preseason training. I think Chatziisaias, Tsiggaras, Deligiannidis will be the first cuts. Lambrou, Henrique, Kace to follow. The rest will depend on the transfers we will make. Just my opinion.
