  1. Big win. Let's continue on Wednesday.
  2. 2:0 Zivko again. Very nice goal.
  3. Baba by far our best player in first half. Augusto good as well. Too bad the Zivkovic shot did not go in. I'd like to see Tzolis and Warda in 2nd half.
  4. Sure is a weird lineup. After today's other results we need a win in this one.
  5. EPO has assigned refereeing crew from Fake Macedonia to call this game. Dutch referee has been assigned as VAR.
  6. PAOK Women's Volleyball team won the Greek Cup in Volleyball after defeating AO Thira Santorini 3:0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:23) in the cup final that took place in Ilioupoli. This is the first ever national title for PAOK Women's Volleyball team.
  7. No, he signed for 1.5 years. The problem is Kagawa (and Berbatov) were signed for promotional reasons. Not for performance reasons. The coaches in both cases were unable to utilize players with such star power. In Berbatov's case there was an outright hatred by the coach towards the player. In Kagawa's case I think it's Garcia's coaching inexperience.
  8. He's done for the season, and I doubt if we will see him next season as well.
  9. Don't think his problem has to do with playing too many game. It has more to do with all the talk about him joining the big European teams getting to his head. On top of that he has hired an agency to represent him in possible talks with the big clubs. Since that point his play has suffered. He no longer puts his legs into the fire fearing possible injury. I am sure that was a suggestion from the agency.

  11. It did happen to us in the same game. Similar handball by Tripoli player was not called a penalty. I do have to agree that Crespo's handling was more obvious even though the ball hit his thigh first before hitting his hand.
  12. That should have been a penalty for Tripoli.
  13. That might have crossed the goal line.
  14. Stefanos Douskos (Rowing) has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. So far following Greek athletes have secured a spot in the Tokyo Olympics so far: Track & Field Miltos Tentoglou (long jump) Katerina Stefanidi (pole vault) Nikol Kyriakopoulou (pole vault) Paraskevi Papachristou (triple jump) Antigoni Drisbioti (20 km Walk) Eleni Polak (pole vault) Swimming Anna Doundounaki (100 m butterfly) Kristian Golomeev (50 m freestyle) Apostolos Christou (100 m backtsroke) Andreas Vazaios (200 m individual medley) Apostolos Papastamos (200m/400m individual Medley) Kostas Egglezakis (800 m Freestyle) 4x100 m Freestyle Relay (men) Sailing Vyronas Kokkalanis (RSX) Giannis Mitakis (Finn) Vasilia Karachaliou (Radial) Pavlos Kagialis (470) Panagiotis Mantis (470) Aimalia Tsoulfa (470) Ariadni Spanaki (470) Katerina Divari (RSX) Rowing Maria Kyridou (Double Skif) Christina Bourbou (Double Skif) Stefanos Douskos (Skif) Shooting Anna Korakaki (10 pistol, 25 m pistol) Nikos Mavromatis (Skeet) Wrestling Maria Prevolaraki (53 kg) Cycling Polychronis Tzortzakis (road cycling) Christos Volikakis (track cycling) Fencing Dora Goundoura Water Polo - men Greek national team
  15. It was quite bad. the only highlight of the game was the goal by Murg and couple good saves by Paschalakis. If we play like this against Tripoli on Sunday we will most likely lose.
  16. With a win like that it's nice to go back and enjoy this epic video:
  17. We win a game without creating a single scoring chance. We played little bit better in second half, but not by much. We now have an upper hand as far as qualifying to the final, but it's definitively not over yet, but this result is much better than the 0:0 tie would have been.
  18. PAOK very poor overall. Not only do we have a poor defense, we have bad offense as well. AEK dangerous on counter attacks. There is no imagination by our players. The only player that stands out is El Kaddouri. Hopefully there are no scouts from other teams watching Tzolis. His price drops down with every game he plays. I would put in Warda in order to put some life into the team, but it looks like Vieirinha will be subbed at half time due to injury.
