True, but I believe Atromitos can qualify. They already beat Panathinaikos twice this season and in today's game the officiating was 100:0 for Panathinaikos giving them a penalty for non-existing foul outside the box. Panathinaikos players were flopping at every slight touch. LeBron would be proud of them. Something we should keep in mind on Sunday.

PAOK volleyball team won the Greek Supercup (last season's champion vs. cup winner) defeating Olympiakos 3:2 in a game played on Olympikos's home turf at Renti.

Jonathan (Jonny) Castro Otto is coming to Thessaloniki on Friday to sign a 1.5 year deal with PAOK.
Also rumors are that we are close to signing a winger by the end of the week.

We gave up on Maximovic at the end of the summer when his team demanded 4 mil just to let him go. I think a decision was made to see how Meite/Antonio would perform and revisit this again in the future. It appears that during this transfer period a bidding war has started and PAOK did not take part in it. His agent all of a sudden also demanded a 1.7 mil signing bonus, which probably turned PAOK completely off. At the end I think we will sign either Meite or Antonio and also look for another midfielder since at the end of this period some of the contracts are ending (Schwab).
In other rumors I heard that Murg is asking for a wage increase. After sitting on the bench for the past two seasons, I am not sure I would be extending his contract.

Looks like Maximovic, who we had almost "signed" last transfer period and was a sure thing to join PAOK in the summer is signing with Panathinaikos for 3 years.
-
Yes much better in 2nd half. Now we have whole week to prepare for the first of the big games at Toumba against Panathinaikos. We need to win that one.

Btw is it just me or is there a bottomless blue pit behind our goal
Sure there is. Used for the 3000 meters steeple chase and is filled with water during the race.

0:3 Despodov again with a rocket.

0:2 halftime.
We are winning but we are not playing good at all. We are not playing with any passion and make way too many mistakes.

After 5 minutes it was called offside. Still 0:1.

The Lyratzis loan (until June 30, 2024) to Tripoli is official as both PAE Tripoli and PAE PAOK made the announcements. Apparently there is a buyout option as part of the loan deal.
