Today EPO has changed the date for the final to May 27, 2023. They still can't make their mind up where it's going to be played. Also, our return semifinal match against Lamia will be played on April 13 at 17:00 EEST.

Who in their right mind would pay money for a player that is going to be free in couple months. I am pretty sure he already has his next team lined up and is just enjoying his last days in Thessaloniki with an occasional trip to the homeland for NT games he will not even dress up for.
-
Our first playoff game is against Aris away. Ingason will most likely miss the game due to injury.

RIP Mimis Papaioannou who past away today. One of the greatest players in Greek football history. Played in 1960's, 1970's. Self proclaimed die hard PAOK fan who ended playing for AEK despite the fact that he wanted to play for PAOK. Something he discussed in the interview below. I could only imagine PAOK which would have had Papaioannou, Koudas and Sarafis on its roster.

Officially it's a knee problem. I have a feeling it has more to do with the fact that he will not be a PAOK player after this season and a deal was made between the two parties.

R.I.P Makis Mavromichalis, also known as "Manavis" or "Stratigos" Makis was of the founding members and leader of the Gate 4 fan club. He was most active in the 1970's and 1980's. After that he kept low profile except for occasional phone calls to Thessaloniki sports radio stations. Several years ago he overcame serious medical issues with the financial help of Ivan Savvidis and following that he returned to Toumba Stadium after many years.

Koulierakis and Konstantelias have been called up by Poyet to the senior national team for the upcoming games against Gibraltar and Lithuania. Balomenos and Panagiotou have been called for the U21 NT games against Hungary and Belarus.
-
The first three matches will determine how we will do. If we can win the first two and not lose in Karaiskaki we will be in good shape. We will then play two home games against Volos and PAO and we will be able to close the gap between the 1st and 2nd place. After that anything is possible.
-
Playoffs time now. Seven points behind the leaders and 5 points behind 2nd place.

1:0 Brandon

Quagliata loan to Cuiaba is official. Loaned until December 31, 2023. The Brazilian team has option to purchase the player at the end of the loan.
-
The government and police announced that they will not allow organized travel of PAOK fans to Volos. Something they did not do for the other teams (PAO, AEK, Olympiakos). Any fans travelling to Volos will have to do it on their own and at their own risk. Oliveira, Zivkovic, Schwab, Ingason and Koulierakis are at yellow card limit. If they receive one in this game they will miss the playoff opener. Can we afford not to start those 5 players and still beat Volos?
-
You heard it here first. The final will be played at OAKA in Athens without fans.
-
Six cup finals in the last 7 years and 4 cup titles in the same time span.
-

Kind of confusing to watch PAOK in white jerseys playing against a team all in black. I just joined the stream when we scored the goal and thought it was Lamia scoring.

Next national team friendly game: March 27, 2023 Athens - OPAP Arena Greece - Lithuania
