roberto two saves off the corner kick. we just can't aim the shots at the right spots today. -

we're dominating since the start of the second half tbh. we just need to put the ball in the back of the net and the floodgates will open. -

excellent play down the left wing with rodrigues to find berbatov. if the finish had gone one yard to roberto's left it'd be 1-2. -

i didn't get a chance to see the match, but my friend is a gooner and he rated siovas as one of your best in the match besides roberto. -

i, too, had to miss the match due to lab. were we really bad compared to them or did we actually defend well enough that we earned this draw? did we look OK going forward or was it a matter of us capitalizing on the one chance we had all match? i do know the goal we conceded was a softie. typical olsen goal at this stage really. -

so then my whole sunday will be football. merseyside derby at 830, man u vs arsenal at 11, PAOK at 130. guess i'm not learning hand/forearm muscles this weekend. -
ronaldinho was serviceable at queretaro (mexican league) last season, but i don't think he has a place in this PAOK. not now with berbatov coming in and being all about the team, youth development, etc.

our next superleague match is against oly. i told my gooner roommate his team have to be merciless and get oly nice and wide for us. oly are in london on tuesday and come back to face us in toumba on sunday, so it's not exactly the easiest time of year for them either, and hopefully we can take advantage of that. for ourselves, are half a week through a very important week and a half and so far so good. dortmund may well be too much for us if they really show up, but let's have a go.

he was so pumped when mak scored the winner too. least we can say about berba is he's not a passenger looking for an easy retirement home. he's all about PAOK right now. -

apparently mak failed to convert a tete a tete but it sounds like we are creating lots of chances -

i'm pumped even though we should beat this team handily. i want us to make a big impression first game in the group. given my exam tomorrow, i should not even be tuning in, but whatever, too pumped. -
in that case the kid may deserve a raise next time.
-
we sure did. I hope he lives up to expectations. the other day in fifa i scored two fantastic berbagoals playing as monaco against my buddy (arsenal). i hope arsenal get knocked out of the CL and meet us in the europa league knockout rounds so berba can screw them two years in a row and we can screw them for the second time out of two times...

a defender now? the past week has just been too good! hopefully it translates into better results than last week...

it's too good to be true that we actually got him and that he's eligible for the group stage...

i did actually have a roommate in the past named vasili but his family were not pizzeria owners nor PAOK. my current roommate, his family are lebanese, and he's arsenal. @ pash--this guy offered the free pizza before my friend and i even engaged him in conversation. pontos was right, the guy's probably a straight up
-
no way! my roommate that i was talking about is actually from cranston, where his father owns a pizza place also. thanks for the tip.
-
that's the one. never guessed it was owned by one

i bet that he has plenty of scarves to go around, he was very keen to know if i have a team shirt and a scarf. i told him i had one of each and he gave me the scarf anyway. the place is <5 minutes walking from my apartment, it's called pizza stop. very close to BMC.

something fantastic happened to me yesterday. i went with a couple friends to this pizza place around the corner from our apartment to grab some lunch before watching tottenham-everton. we go in there and put our orders in and i jokingly ask one of my friends (lebanese descent) if he knows the people who own the place, since his family also have pizza places and he seems to know a lot of restaurant owners. he says he doesn't know these people, but he later adds that he thinks they're greek. i look at the guy behind the counter and i think to myself, yeah, i could see it. but when the lady working there announces that a vedzie (veggie) slice is ready for pickup, there could be no doubts. interestingly, before i or my friends even said anything, the boss of the place comes over and tells us he's going to give us free pizza. alright! anyway, when the food was ready and we go to pay, my friend asks what nationality they are and sure enough they're greeks. i start talking to the guy there and when he hears my mom was born in thessaloniki he immediately asks which team i support. my life is on the line here, i realized, but of course i told him PAOK. he immediately reaches under the counter and produces a fantastic scarf (BLACK HELL one) that he gave to me. my two buddies and i also walked out of there with a free pizza on top of whatever food we had all already ordered. the guy's name was stathi, seems like a good fellow and absolutely a PAOK fanatic.
