Solid, hope this works out for all involved. Now the question is, who's the next "player we never wanted to leave but are hoping we'll get back for the next five years" ? Stafylidis? -edit This is also absolutely adorable:
-
Aww how sweet! I was worried that suddenly we were going to get rid of him. Would suck to see Poungouras go, but the guy needs game time. Would be a great move for Kerkyra.
-
Blackhawk, what would Rey be doing there?
-
If Zambrano does sign, that would be huge. Last I heard, we had some competition from one of the Israeli clubs for him.
-
Mauricio is a done deal. Signed for three years. Now to see what happens with Vieirinha, Henrique, and any surprises regarding CB (doubtful).
-
Long story short, if he's worth it next year then it'll be self evident. One step at a time, as we might end up without both Vieirinha AND Henrique, for all we know.
-
Pffft. If we're using Greek sites as proof, here's a third option! http://www.gazzetta.gr/football/article/1103449/ekleise-o-mak-ston-paok
-
Mak's clause is 2.5 from what I've heard.
-
Charisis, to me, has more potential than Cimirot and is already better than Shakhov. I hope he gets a lot of time too, and that Michel (or whoever is there next summer) doesn't blow cash on tourists.
-
My first choice would be to keep him as well. But if the player is unhappy about the lack of EL games, and the wages are an issue, then sending him away for a year and then having him going forward is preferable to me to just getting rid of him.
-
Ideally, we'll manage to win all of these remaining five home matches (in the league)...if the team shows up improved, the fans will notice and hopefully start showing up (including after the derbies). The next month or two will make the picture much clearer. But with that said, there's no reason we can't win - we'll be a bit leaner than last season, but I don't see our team being any worse, at least potential-wise.
-
Take it as you will, but inPAOK is reporting that the team is very keen on loaning Henrique out this season, but is adamant that they do not want a buy clause put into the agreement. Presumably so that we can get our s%$#! together and qualify for the CL/EL next season. I like that idea, personally.
-
Henrique's agent is in Thessaloniki to go over the deal. Looks like we're leaning towards a loan with a 3mm clause. Mauricio signed for three years, 1mm per year
-
If a decent offer comes in, then offload him. That was the point of getting the player in the first place, after all. My suspicion is that Leovac wants out, thus his poor performances. Deligiannidis is cheap and clearly Ivic/Stanojevic wanted him to be a Matos-style player - well, now's our chance to see that.
-
Warda is completed his signing for Atromitos today; he chose the #10. Does anyone recall what we were paying him? Seems Deligiannidis may also be loaned out. If we do sell Leovac, I think this would be a poor move. Michael still waiting on Savvidis to decide if his resignation would be accepted. George, if you're reading this, put a good word in with your dad about this guy.
-
I think you mean Lamprou? We got him for only 300k, it looks like. I guess they really liked Limnios, to judge by the relative cost. Well, everyone except Stanojevic liked him, I guess.
-
For sure, I thought he had a lot of potential...and already had more experience than Poungouras. While I still think a league-best CB is what we need, if we don't have the cash then we don't have the cash. Unless the Russians and their money come sniffing for Malezas, this search might be over again (and I can't really blame our admin for stopping). Again, I don't want a second-rate guy when Poungouras needs real playing time.
-
Atromitos, for 900k. I like what I've seen so far too.
-
FFP hasn't seemed to stop any team from doing anything. Savvidis has injected funds into the club several times already, after all. However, profligate spending is not something I'm backing. InPAOK, btw, seems to think the Vieirinha deal will happen regardless of if Henrique goes. I guess nobody has a clue, when all is said and done.
-
Is this Kolkas' reporting? At the end of the day, we're only in a hole if Savvidis decides we are. Come to think of it, we could do worse than to get rid of a few people. A good offer for Leovac and Cimirot will both open up room for homegrown players and cover some of the post EL revenue.
-
I think I'd rather have Henrique over Vieirinha...I predict he'll be injured as often as Leveque. But still, if we were to get 3mm out of Henrique, might be worth it. I don't see that player's value jumping much more than that (especially with no EL games to show him off). Only question is, would the player accept the move? I don't know if I would in his place.
-
So there are three men's clubs in the city now? Not counting the amateur sides?
-
Well that came out of nowhere...
-
Well at least one of our teams knows what it's doing
-
Warda may end up at Atromitos. Would be a good move for him, all things considered.
