For sure, we don't need Rodrigues and I see no reason to give him a second go. What we want, is to get paid. Very simple stuff. And this is also exactly the kind of thing that Savvidis shouldn't have posted, so I can easily believe that he deleted it once someone told him it was a dumb move. Maybe one of the people who give our players Social Media Training ;)

If one were to look, then every ref's past will yield multiple awful calls. The most we can hope is that this is called 50/50.

In response to some (doubtlessly false) reports that Rodrigues wants to come back after not being able to break into their team:

Iraklis again fined 6 points, which I think is the third or fourth time this season. If it sticks, they will take Levadiakos' place in the second division. They again did not pay their players.

The one transfer I think we still need, is a Mak-style speedster who can play centrally. Ditch Klaus for him, and we'll have a much more adaptable and unpredictable offensive line. Make it happen, Michel.

He also played well last time (and, in fact, each time he's gotten minutes recently). Finally has found his rhythm with the team's newer players.

I understand the argument for starting others over Campos, but Campos has been better these last few games - and as you say above, he is much, much, much better at defending than Henrique. Also is very calm. Shakhov is going to get the start - Ivic has believed in him all season, and now that he's finally playing so well (which is undeniable), he's definitely not going to sit this one out. Cimirot might be benched, but I really don't think Ivic is going to mess with the Panathinaikos formula that much. Malezas vs Varela is a wash in my eyes...Varela is a little stronger, Malezas a little smarter. Both are having good seasons and are interchangeable. Crespo's definitely going to be the one who marks Araujo. I think that any combination of Shakhov/Cimirot/Biseswar/Canas is good enough, to be honest. And if things go well, we might see him toss in Kace to make sure our midfield has the legs to close out the game.

I just got around to looking this guy up. If we were to get him, he'd be worth twice as much as our next most expensive player (according to transfermarkt's numbers). Why would this guy want to come to Greece? 2.5mm also doesn't seem that much... Also - kind of funny how we've been trying to replace Glykos for the past four or so years, and each year he keeps winning out. Is this where we need to be spending our money? -edit- and after I wrote this I saw that he apparently has agreed terms with Bordeaux. So...there you go
