Azevedo would bring us way over the cap - if he stayed, we'd have to remove two of Warda, Henrique, and Shakhov
-
Perhaps we're just keeping Leveque. Or will use Crespo as backup.
-
(I wish our window to edit was longer, too many posts!) Melissas is being loaned out again to Lamia. Hopefully he has a better time than last season. That means we currently have Pashalakis, Rey, Glykos, Siambanis. Glykos was last rumored to be linked with one of the Cypriot clubs (Apollon, I think?) The offer for Kace is apparently 200k EUR + 20% resale
-
Latest rumors are that Ivic wants Leovac over in Israel. I doubt the Israelis can afford him, but getting some pressure from another team might make Dynamo more willing to put up some actual money for him. This is the bad part of us offering so much for players - if nobody's biting, then we'll have trouble offloading people. -edit- should also mention that we rejected Panathinaikos on both Kace and Mistakidis (due to the previously mentioned request that we pay their wages). Apparently PAO came back with an offer to pay a bigger proportion of Kace's wages, though we'd still be on the hook for some of it. Personally, I"m sure we can find somewhere that can actually afford him, though at the end of the day I most want him to go somewhere where he'll get playing time.

Michel said a few days ago that they're still interested in Mak, though that doesn't necessarily mean much.
-
And I say let him. Biseswar and Pelkas are better offensively, while Mauricio and (hopefully) Wernbloom will be better CMs. Great way to make some room.
-
Charisis spent quite a while injured. Had a stronger start to the season.
-
Wernbloom (and Natcho) are both reportedly targets by Ajax. If that's true, we're not gonna get this player.

Wiggle waggle yo' nude self

Should be announced any time now...reportedly he's been in the UK for a few days at least. Also saw earlier that he had apparently rejected ManU last season.
-
What kind of animal wears clothes at home???
-
It does sound like we're sitting on it. He also had interest from Turkey, so if the Turks really want him, I don't think we'll get in a bidding war over him. Especially since the Turks are competing with us on like every other player we've been linked with.

Also - holy s%$#! this looks good:

Prijovic counts as an EU player for our purposes due to his Swiss citizenship (and resulting close-but-not-part-of connection) Shakhov does not count as a domestic/EU player. Confirmed on the limit of 5, we are three over at the moment (Rey has Italian citizenship, and Campos/Varela are also Portuguese) Mihojevic - Matos - Mauricio - Hacheridi - Warda - Henrique - Shakhov - Jairo Azevedo would also count, but we confirmed we weren't going to pick him up for next season, so no issues there. Essentially, we need to get rid of three players. Jairo has no future with us, and Mihojevic will likely be loaned out. It'll boil down to who we get a better offer for - Warda or Henrique.
-
Prijovic not yet in their friendly vs Chile, 70 minutes in. I forget how stacked Serbia's team is, I wonder how much time he'll get at the cup
-
Playing against a youth squad and two games on the 16th? Now that's planning
-
Keseru's price tag is in excess of 1mm, btw Atromitos interested in Siabanis on loan for next season. I say the time is right to let him go somewhere where he'll actually have a chance to compete. His contract expires end of next season, as well. Pukki wants over a million, we offered around 700k Wernbloom deal should be wrapping up in the next week, similar/same money as our new Ukranian friend
-
Pukki is still our #1 target, but we haven't heard much about alternatives. I just read that Romanian media is claiming we are linked with Claudiu Keseru, who plays for Ludogorets. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/claudiu-keseru/profil/spieler/25115

Looks like we're lining up another friendly vs Steaua Bucharest as well. That's a good move IMO. Hope Varela scores a goal.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos ‒ (Now Playing for Lamia)
pash replied to Euro2004's topic in Greek Players Abroad
If he can't find someone who will take him, then he'll be an unsuccessful one. -
Agreed. Though if we do keep him, we desperately need to loan out Poungouras...he needs to find playing time
-
I'm sure he'll kill it over there. Good luck to him
-
Campos still linked with Alanyaspor (sp?). If there's a good offer, why not. This is the same team that reportedly wanted him midseason...just saw a post that says he's already agreed terms with them, but who knows
-
Impossible, Yiankos LOVES Crespo!
-
But but but then we aren't working together in the spirit of a more competitive league! Did Olympiakos pay loanees' salaries?
