I agree. He plays in a position where we have two people on the squad now (Canas and Wernbloom), and another on loan (Moulin). We'd need to get rid of two of those guys for him to get any time at all. Personally I'd prefer he stay at Xanthi the rest of this season and then go from there. Any word on price? The whole point of a competition is to have a competition. It is very, very simple - if a team doesn't win, then cry me a river.

Who cares how many fans Panathinaikos (or anyone else) has? If Atromitos keeps doing well, then they'll get more fans. I get that JVC's big thing is that the three Athenian teams should have all the accolades because they have more fans and therefore are the reason the league exists but, frankly, BOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO. If you can't compete, then that's your problem. This SHOULD be a meritocracy. Good on Atromitos for overperforming. I hope they replace one of Oly, PAO, or AEK in our lifetimes. If Varela wasn't, then there was no reason to bring him, at all. That's why we still have Malezas. That's why Tosca can play as CB. Sad, pointless moves by the coach.

Damn right. Lamia can have 12 players and their coach pulling double duty as a referee, we should still be able to crush them. I paid to watch a game, not a tactical retreat into cowardice. Regarding Warda - yeah, he gave away possession once. And yet, we looked 50x better with him on the field than in the first half, where we gave away possession with literally every. Single. Pass. The team was sh1tting itself so badly it's a wonder those stupid orange shorts didn't change color. But whatever. We need to crush Lamia on Monday, and BATE as well. I can forgive this if we end up (somehow) qualifying to the next stage.

People that should go: El Kaddouri, Kacheridi, Shakhov People that should be re-signed: Crespo, Varela, Canas And, Branco - keep Warda!!!! As much as I hate to say it, Malezas probably shouldn't be extended again (if he was even pushing for it). I'd rather have Mihojevic and Hatziisaias than Kacheridi and Malezas next year. And instead of Shakhov, bring back Charisis - who has the speed and technical ability that he lacks. Boom, instantly better team.
