  1. When you're desperate, the risk is worth it on their side. Hopefully we settle down in the second half. One more goal will pretty much end it for them.
  2. Hope you guys using either of the posted links have good ad blockers, btw
  3. http://www.soccerjumbotv2.me/1/ch-4.html Terrible quality
  4. Yeah, link stopped immediately. Checking out the options on reddit's soccerstreams sub now. Post 'em if you've got 'em.
  5. Well, so much for us having any ability to attack on that side. Terrible, terrible news.
  6. I most want to see an improved Pelkas, at least from last game. If he plays well, we'll cut through them easily.
  7. InPAOK saying the team is looking for a new winger who can also play centrally. Would totally be a Michel move to get a 30 year old who played in Ukraine. They also said Natcho is an option if Wernblum doesn't work out. I'd much rather Natcho, but I'm going to use Blackhawk's favorite phrase and call this fake news.
  8. Less pressure to perform could be what he needs to make an impact. Prijo also was a journeyman for much of his career, too. Fingers crossed.
  9. No Biseswar! Did Charisis travel last time? And my sweet baby boy #27 is back in. Woot.
  10. Not comparing their approaches, my sweet banana hammock. Just their general competence. I think part of the reason Michel went the way he did, is because he realized Savvidis doesn't have the patience for growing a team. So he took the less fiscally responsible tact, and perhaps now is trying to blend in longer-term young players into the core we already have. Just a guess though. Anyway, we still have two signings that are being planned. Last I heard, though, the Romanian LB wasn't in the cards.
  11. I'm not seeing any bump for Basel. Good. Spartak Moscow won 1-0 vs Orenburg, which according to transfermarkt is a 12mm EUR team. This is not an Ajax we have ahead of us, folks. Assuming we progress.
  12. PAOK24 saying that the deal for Akpom is 1mm EUR + a resale clause. Haven't seen the actual percentage quoted anywhere yet. -edit- spelling
  13. Michel and Arnesen both did good jobs. A step above the past TDs. Had Arnesen had the same support (and chose a coach who wasn't a puppet), who knows what could have happened.
  14. Yeah, the English sure like to stay in England. The highlights videos look good (as they always do). We'll see how this turns out. Hiring a 22-year-old is a very un-Michel-like move.
  15. This might be the guy: https://www.transfermarkt.com/chuba-akpom/profil/spieler/197642 CF, owned by Arsenal, though he's been loaned out since joining their senior team. He's played for them since he was 15 (when he joined their U18 squad). Scored 6 goals in 16 games last season. Also holds an English passport in addition to Nigerian (he was last an English U21 player). InPAOK says they already spoke to him; he was encouraged by Charisis and Kitsiou (who were his teammates last season in Belgium). This is moving pretty fast! Here are some videos: https://inpaok.com/473552/aftos-ine-o-tsouba-akpom-videos/
  16. Markovskii's loan to Aiginiakos was just announced. His stats for the six months he was in the u20 were impressive, hopefully he continues to progress
  17. Can you imagine our scummy Gate 4 fans belting this out in perfect harmony
  18. If we can't beat these guys, then we aren't worthy of progressing. We have a big advantage and should be able to progress.
  19. Asteras lost 3-2. Both Greek teams go into the next leg down on aggregate but with a big advantage in away goals
  20. You've already intruded into my heart, you may as well intrude in this conversation!
