I agree 100% with this comment. I knew he was capable of scoring and he did.

Gianniotas has 2 goals in 4 games he has a better goal/game ratio than Mantalos and Fortounis. Gianniotas is a gun. He would be good off the bench from now on. Stafylidis played the best alongside Mitroglou. Do you see when you play Tachtsidis you can tell he is a midfielder and shows his intelligence with the ball. This was an easy game but we played so much better this game against Gibraltar than the first time we versed them. Kourbelis and Siopis should of been given a chance. Now we are on to the playoffs!

Even if he could where would he play? We all know how he plays on the wing. Plus Mitroglou is our best option upfront. He is a good talent though. We have a good team and with him added it's even better.

That's good to hear about Fortounis hopefully he can keep it up and score a goal or two. We need him especially for the play offs and the World Cup itself. Mantalos is another option to play as the number 10. Mantalos looked good against Cyprus in both games. It looks he has elevated to another level, maybe the wrist band is doing him good. We also have Lazaros and Stafylidis who are dead ball specialists. Does anyone know if Torosidis is injured for the match against Gibraltar? Also does anyone think players like Kourbelis and Gianniotas will be given a chance? We need to win this game. We should be fine.

I've been thinking about putting Samaris as the number 8. I want to Hinton attacking positions. He is capable of scoring some spectacular goals. Kourbelis and Siopis look like they are hungry for an opportunity. I would really like to see Gianniotas play more often. There's something about him that makes you think he can change the game in seconds. His speed and skill is very valuable to have. Imagine him and Stafylidis working together on the left. I don't know why Skibbe doesn't understand that.

I didn't watch the game but I keep on hearing people say that Fortounis is not as passionate as he should be. This is a problem and it's starting irritate me. He is a good talent and with a bit more hustle he can be a great talent that can one day be playing in La Liga or Bundesliga. If he doesn't show hustle in the next match he can get out the of the starting 11 and stay on the bench.

I agree with what you are saying. We don't have 84, 86, 87, 88 or even 90 rated players. But leaving players out like Pelkas, Bakakis, Galanopoulos and Fetfatzidis is not right. We all know Tziolis provides height in the team. But guess what, Tachtsidis provides height aswell. Tachtsidis is more of a difference maker. We all know that. Siopis should play against Gibraltar. As well as Gianniotas.

Tziolis should not play. We are sabotaging ourselves if he does. Samaris is sick apparently and Donis is injured. I expect to see Tachtsidis start. Lazaros will start on the wing.

Yeah i agree. Kaltsas should have been given chance. We should try Bakasetas as striker. Giakoumakis needs to prove himself more with AEK. I might be wrong but Pelkas has been playing CDM for PAOK in a few games. I wonder why he was put there.

Papadopoulos would do a better job than Tziolis. I am relying on Donis and Lazaros to rescue us. Mitroglou will be playing which is good. Tachtsidis needs to play. Stafylidis with long shots needs to play. I reckon if Fortounis wants to he can destroy any team. Gianniotas can score goals. Zeca and Samaris will most likely start.

For the people that are saying that players like Tziolis, Tzavellas and Maniatis will leave the team after the this campaign are wrong, I don't see it happening. Why would they not be in the team if they are getting picked now. I think Skibbe relies on them. I can see why with Tzavellas but I can't see it with the other two. Tziolis is a holding midfielder which Samaris plays. So I'm guessing Skibbe doesn't trust him. Also the reason for Zeca getting citizenship is because we ate lacking the number 8 and Maniatis is getting old. The other reason is that we are low on midfielders.

I don't know how I feel about this. Is his Papou actually Greek or was he just born there? I'd rather someone Greek like Manthatis or Pelkas.

Back on that Fortounis comment. I'd happily give Ninis and Kone a second, third, or even fourth chance to be in this team. Thats if they start playing regularly and get in form. They are currently in a rut with injuries and other circumstances but they have the experience and talent and they can resurect their careers like Lazaros. Who says they can't?

Lazaros is more creative on the wing, than behind the striker. We have no one to test Fortounis. Maybe Mantalos can start on the bench or even start behind Mitroglou. If Mitroglou doesn't play we have to put Donis there. Samaris looks like he has that position cemented at defensive midfield.

The last time he has scored with his foot was with AEK. He hasn't scored yet with the national team. Papadopoulos has 4 goals in 24 matches for Greece.

I've noticed that to about Manolas. It's like he is not even trying. I remember at the World Cup where he played with so much heart and was our best player in the tournament. Sokratis is the only one who gives a s%$#! in my opinion. The rest do try but Sokratis gives 100% all the time. You have to respect that.

Pelkas would do heaps better than Mantalos on the right wing. Watch the game against Hungary. Although he didn't score, he looked lively on that right wing and had a few chances in the first half. Same with Donis. Donis has done more in 3 games than Mantalos done in 10. Even Gianniotas has done well in the games he's played. I'm not saying Mantalos is bad, I think it's time he plays his natural position attacking midfield. I'm also implying that we see more of Gianniotas, Pelkas and Donis.

100% Mitsara we need him on the wing. I wouldn't mind Pelkas playing as well. We need the best players possible. With Fetfatzidis and Holebas out of the picture, we need our best.
