Fortounis was weak piss! In all aspects. Just sickening. Sokratis and Papadopoulos showed heart and were at fault for 1 of the goals. I am very pissed off. I know our aim is to be a team but when you are so invested and passionate about this team you can't help but criticize the F***en idiot of a coach called Skibbe. Lazaros and Pelkas are in very good form. They are very talented on their as well. But no we have to see Tziolis, Bakasetas and Tzavellas. By the way Tzavellas provided nothing and that is an understatement. Stafylidis was at fault but Tzavellas was far worse. I expected more from the both of them. Skibbe needs to leave now. We need a coach who understands what is need to win not draw! F*** this!

The problem is we are not attacking. We are too deep. Zeca has been our only hope in attack. Karnezis is out of it. Should not play, the whole team is at fault for the 1st half

I'm sick of hearing negativity on this forum of our beloved national team. Seriously what is it that makes people bash our own team. Be positive. Even a Croatian journalist said that how is it that we do so well but not have one top star in the team. I want everyone to have a look at the video and specifically that question. Sokratis couldnt have said it any better. Have some belief for god's sake. I always hear we don't have depth, our players are not good enough, we have to play like this, we have to play like that. Enough! We are not a perfect team we will probably never will be. But as Greeks we have heart and the one thing we know is pulling through when our back is against the wall. Just be positive and if we don't succeed accept it and say something positive about it. This goes to everyone who is always whinging and complaining, im to blame as well but some people just don't stop. I believe we will win both matches. Be proud and look forward to the match!

I don't understand why Skibbe would panic like that by calling up 2 cbs instead if 1. Doesn't he realize he called up Papadopoulos and Retsos. Tzavellas can play in that position. Now we know Sokratis is fit to play.

I agree we should not be negative. What for? Didn't you hear what Sokratis said? We are becoming a team again and it doesn't matter if we don't make it to the world cup. Of course that is our aim now. But the first and most important goal was to become a team. We have done that now. I agree that Skibbe's choices at call ups have not been the best and his decisions to leave out Fetfatzidis and Holebas is a big loss, but so what? We are getting results. Skibbe has reverted back to you our successful way and that's playing defensive first and counter second. Yeah I don't agree with Tziolis playing but if we are WINNING then so be it.

Andreas Gianniotis goalkeeper of Atromitos Is in top form. 8 cleans sheets in a row. 7th ranked for goalkeepers in the superleague of all time for this. If he continues this form he can easily be called up. He is the reason why Atromitos are coming first.

I definitely agree. Sokratis is very vital also. Papadopoulos is still very useful. Looks like Risvanis and Chatzisaias are proving to be solid in the superleague. Oikonomou is not bad and Siovas is doing well in Spain. Of course Retsos is coming up as well. So we have a lot of depth in this position. I wish we can say the same for our strikers.

That's doesn't make sense be played against Gibraltar. If he got a yellow in the Cyprus game he would not play against Gibraltar.

That's good to hear Ausgreek. I knew Bakasetas had it in him. It's time for him to show what his got against Croatia. Pelkas is the big addition to the team. I hope he starts. He should play right wing. Stafylidis should be on the left.

Karelis just came back from a big injury how do we expect him to do the job in such crucial games coming up. Theres not time to experiment with Vlachodimos. Skibbe is a fool he should have capped him against Gibraltar that's if he has Greek citizenship. Diamantakos and Vellios will provide nothing because Mitroglou will play the full 90. Better to call up Pelkas or Masouras.

I hope so. Fortounis and Pelkas are captains for their teams. This is good news for the future team of the Ethniki. If you think about it some of our young players are captains Eg. Androutsos u21, Siopis, Kourbelis, Stafylidis can become captain, Galanopoulos can become captain, Papadopoulos, Mantalos and Manolas can be captain. Players like Tziolis, Tzavellas, Maniatis and Torosidis should be out after the world cup. Players like Galanopoulos and Pelkas in. Players like Diamantakos, Vellios and Bakasetas should not be in the team so often.

Not a bad line up. Risvanis and Chatzisaias are playing well at Atromitos. They are the reason they are doing well. We have a lot of depth at centre back. Lykogiannis and Stafylidis could become our starting full backs. Retsos can play all across the back. Sokratis will be 35 in 5 years and could well still play at a high level. Torosidis and Tzavellas will surely not play after the world cup. I can't wait to see players like Limnios, Lamprou and even Pelkas in the team. Pelkas should be in the team now, bit Skibbe won't calling him up.

I hate to break it to everyone but the likes of Fetfatzidis, Kone and Pelkas won't get get called up. Especially the first 2. Lazaros will likely take Donis spot. Zeca and Samaris will probably start also. I hope Fortounis plays the game of his life against Croatia. We need him to step up.

Does anyone know what's happening with Torosidis? Also what about Stafylidis? I don't mind that Mantalos is out, still wish him a speedy recovery. Donis is more of a huge loss.

We are probably going to see Zeca and Stafylidis on the wings. I hope Donis will be fine. Mantalos is replaceable, he hasn't lived up to the hype, that's also because he's been put on the wing. I believe if Donis is fine we will see one of Zeca or Stafylidis on the other wing.

Where am I re!

The biggest disappointment is Ninis. Then Fetfatzidis. Ninis had everything on his side. Talent, youth, the media and the country behind him. Its very unfortunate that his career has led to what it's led. Same can be said for other players like Tatos, Vlachodimos and Koutsianikoulis. Now we turn to the likes of Lampou, Manthatis, Limnios and Androutsos.
