@Dean97 until we get a solid Midfielder to emerge that can control the middle of the field and feed the ball we will always sttruggle to create offensively... Zeca has heart and hustles but he is not the guy to do that and either is Kourbelis... I think Doinis will help when healthy on the wing.. I like Fetfa and think he has talent but he’s hardly getting any playing time so I don’t see him being called up anytime soon. Lazaros should be here 100% but his conditioning is horrible he gets gassed very easy... the only spots that should be secure is Manolas, Socratis, Fortounis,Mitro and Toro ( until he starts to get tired) Everyone else they need to experiment with... I would add Donis to the list but we haven’t seen enough yet...

I’m done with Mantalos he is garbage... Him and Bakasetas should not be on this team.. Pelkas has not been good either... We need Donis healthy because he would be our best option... I understand The coach wanted to get the win and see what he is working with and maybe more then going for the 2nd goal and exposing our back end maybe he thought the win would be a confidence booster going forward.. It’s the only reason why he wouldn’t push forward and go with 2 strikers imo... The fact that he cut Tzioils and Tzavellas and said he is going to bring some players from the under 21 needs to be encouraging to all of us.. Yes the style of the NT will NEVER be pretty and we will always struggle to score goals but I do have faith in this coach that he will eventually make the right moves.. The game against estonia now that the match doesn’t mean anything is a good time for him to experiment with his line up.. I thought Koutris looked good today...

Guys we knew the Nations League was lost... Let’s not start blaming the coach after this game... the guy needs time to adjust and figure out which players he wants and which he doesn’t want.. I truly believe the coach will start implementing his style and new young players.. I’m still very optimistic with this new coach and will not judge him until after the Euro campaign.. I think we will start to slowly see changes..

I don’t think we should be holding our breath as it’s a very tall order and need everything to work out perfectly.. But for those who are curious Finland is at +5 we are at -1 so ideally we would want to win 3-0 and then they lose 1-0 or more to Hungary and then we go in on goal differential. We could even win 2-0 and As long as Bulgaria beat them by 2 then we would go through as long as we beat Estonia.. We can take it a step further and say even if we win 1-0 and pump Estonia by 3 or 4 as long as Hungary beats Finland then we can still top the group.. There plenty of scenarios but obviously all long shots..

I’m not so concerned about topping the group.. that to be honest is no longer doable... We just need to focus on finding a style to play that can be successful.. The Euro qualifiers will be very difficult but it’s our only chance to make the Euros since we butchered the Nations league.. We are not scoring 3 goals it’s not happening and even if we do we need Finland to lose against Hungary.. They just need to focus on working as a team with a set plan that everyone buys into so they don’t go into the Euro qualifiers lost..
