No positives at all from this game, defence looked so sloppy, no flow no control horrible showing.. I know it’s a friendly but these types of results can couse doubt in the players and the fans again.. I’m not sure what Angelo what trying to accomplish But we still had Masouras, Samaria, Fortounis, Koutris, Kolouris, in the line up and these are players we expect more or less to play for us.. Very disappointing as we looked no better today under this coach.. Hope we see a drastic change come Saturday agains Italy becasue this is now 2 games back to back where we have fallen apart early in a game and trailed 2-0 and if that happens against Italy we are done..

I was just reading this.. I think Toro is still important for our team and he could still give the team some useful minutes on the field. I always thought of him as a leader and I think the coach is making a mistake by not having him called up.. Plus we don't really have a solid replacement in his position right now...

No I don't think it's worth two game suspension. As a Greek fan I wish he was sitting but yes its the right call for him to play.. I juts wish FIFA would have been as rational when Manolas got suspended for the most important game for so called "Time Wasting"

I agree the Italians are the heavyweights in our group and to be honest they should beat us so a draw would be amazing for us.. I just hope they also beat the Bosnians without Pjanic.. finishing 2nd will come down to how we perform against Finland and the minnows and we need to make sure we get all possible points from Armenia and Liechtenstein and hope nothing worse then a draw against Finland and Bosnia.. I’m assuming Italy will go Undefeated in this group..

I agree, even though we seen some positive signs its still to early to think we have turned the corner yet. Italy are definitely the favorites and a much better team then us right now so I strongly believe if we can get a draw out of this game that will feel like a win. Now if we do get a win that would be HUGE... I think the NT has to prove to it's fans that they aren't the same team who have lost to the worlds minnows... I like what I've seen from this coach and the first 2 matches of the Euros and it seems like we've turned the corner and are on our way up but I'm still skeptical and need to see more as you mentioned it was not to long ago that we lost to some pretty bad teams..

So its confirmed that the NT will meet in Holland between May 22-29 to prepare for the upcoming games. Why is the coaches belief's even a discussion? That is ridiculous..... Just because a guy is super religious what does that have to do with his coaching ability?? All I Know is he made a mistake when he started the Bosnia game and instead of just sticking with his original plan he made great in game decisions and that alone allowed us to draw unlike Skibbe could ever do. The fact that he has pushed for a 10 day get together this month shows his commitment to make this team better. Of course we don't know what the overall outcome will be but how can anyone not like what Ang is trying to do with the NT.

Loving what the coach and his staff are doing for the NT.. This is fantastic they are really doing everything they can to make this a team again.. He’s calling the team up for 10 days and in May to get together and practise which never happened under Skibbe, Raneri and so on.. he has also pushed for friendlies and now they are building practise facility.. If you want fans to take you serious then you need to show you care and get serious and these are great steps forward..

What day is Greece scheduled to play Turkey? Is there also other friendlies already scheduled as I hear Germany and Austria as well?

As far as Retsos and Kpaps are concerned they have been injured a lot and for me personally the NT is not a guarantee and no spots should be held for guys that have been out a long time. Both guys need to play regularly with there club team and get back into form from after there long lay off before being considered for the NT again. The NT is not in position to call up guys so they can workout the rust out of there game at the NT expense as we need in form guys that are playing there best before being called up again regardless of who you are.

I agree.. this was a very small sample size for us but it did show positive signs.. We have a hell of lot to improve on and you juts hope they keep getting better every game.. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction becasue as much as we think we turned the corner we can easily take two steps back with two bad results in June.. I’m not ready to say we are taking 2nd place yet.. I do feel like the team is closer to each other and there is a good vibe again with the players and I also think if played the right way we can create offensively and we don’t need to sit back all the time.. Fingers crossed that this is the beginning of good things to come because honestly I can’t go through missing another tournament..

I think Bosnia may drop points against Finland especially without Pjanic. I can see them drawing. Realistically I don't think we will beat Italy but a draw is more realistic.

Still tough to say.. I am feeling more optimistic from what I’ve seen so far but I think we will have a better idea after June’s matches..

If you remember Kolovos had another great chance but the Bosnian keeper stuck his foot out and made a good save. I'm not saying he deserves to start but he does deserve some more looks.
