That's probably because the people selling the paper take the CDs out for their own use without paying for the paper. That's what happens at our local store that sells the Greek papers. Usually the plastic wrap that contains the CD/DVD is just ripped open, with the CD missing.

The Greek U-17 NT has failed to qualify to the final stage of the European U-17 Championships after finishing 2nd in the qualifying group behind Israel. They should accept the offer and then close down 14 teams that lose the most money and start a 16 team league with only 8 of them making it to the play-offs. Get back to the roots when NHL was the best sports show in North America.

4.37m.: World Youth Best by Katerina Stefanidi 20.2.2005 Katerina Stefanidi cleared 4.32m. and then 4.37m. to set a double all time world youth best, but also to equal the women's pole vault record for Greece and set the qualifying standard for the European Indoor Championships. (www.athletix.org) I would like to add that Katerina is only 15 years old. She is one of the up and coming Greek track star athletes.

Mitso, I generaly agree with your point about bitching about the refs in the Greek soccer all the time, but did you see the no-call in that game by the ref when Kapetanos handled the ball not once but twice.

Seeing that our U-21 NT is doing poorly so far, can someone tell what coaching credentials does the new coach of the team Stelios Aposporis have? What teams did he coach in the past? I've never heard of him before he took over the team.
