  9. Don't tell me they did not paint the place since the last time I was at Toumba, back in 1995?
  10. BTW, I heard today that the people that re-constructed the Kalamaria Stadium will also be involved in the improvments at Toumba. I don't know if you saw any pictures of Kalamaria Stadium, but it looks like nothing has been done to it. All you have to do is look at the pitch during the Aris - Olympiakos game. I hope that the construction company actually does some work on Toumba, as opposed to just pocketing the money.
  11. Toumba Stadium is part of the 2004 Olympics, and will be used as a training facility by the soccer teams that will play in Thessaloniki. Because of that the are plans for some rennovations at Toumba. Those rennovations were supposed to happen sevral months ago, but until now the work has not started. It is reported that work should start at Toumba any day now. Originally the work was supposed to be completed by May, 2004. Here are the improvements planned for Toumba Stadium. As with anything in Greece, it is not 100% sure that these will happen: 1. The original roof covering Gate 1, will be removed, and a new one will be built over that gate. The old roof was originally planned to be moved to Gates 5 & 6, but it is not sure that this will happen now. The new metallic roof that will cover Gate 1. 2. New, 4-story building, which will house VIP suites, lounge, media areas, and new club offices will be build behind Gates 1 &2. The proposed 4-story building behind gates 1 & 2. 3. The overall appearance of the stadium will be improved. This includes work to be done on all the gates as well as the ground area. 4. The appearance in the area around the stadium will also be improved, which will include new parking facilities. There is also a possibility that a fence surrounding the stadium will be build. Kastoriane, I am not from Kastoria, but my parents were born very close to Kastoria in Grevena region. I do have some close relatives that are from Argos Orestiko. I guess that almost makes it OK for me to root for Kastoria. GO KASTORIA!!!

  24. Here we can discuss current players on the PAOK roster. For starters here are couple resources with player information: Official PAE PAOK website: http://www.paokfc.gr/a-omada/a-omada/a-team-roster/ My own PAOK player list: http://home.earthlink.net/~ziaka/PAOK_Roster.htm Instead of having multiple topics on individual players, I think it might be better to have just one where we can post information and opinions about the current PAOK players. All the player topics will be combined into this one.
