  1. Exactly Val.. This has been my fear for over a year now...
  2. Why did he wait so long to reveal the truth?
  3. ^^ a Montrealer who got his start as an Expos letter boy to boot! ;)
  4. Do you think the debt was "inflated" to scare off investors by the "klika"?
  5. As for Dimitraki, didn't he say that PAO owed 50ish Million when he looked into PAO FC's numbers (in 2013?) When he was considering injecting cash in the club...? If so, how are we doing now? Are we to believe that the club is close to paying off this debt as Alafouzos has implied despite reading the news on old player contracts? Despite not getting any Euro money? I hope Tzigger isn't running s%$#! from the shadows...
  6. ^please expand on this. Dept must play a role. Especially when the club has no way of elevating said debt for the foreseeable future.. No revenue from Europe, no stadium revenue (16k Leoforos won't cut it), etc...
  7. ^yessir! Another revolting development... @Pana97: let them get excited. That was their biggest away win in CL... Vs a cripple Arsenal squad in the group stage. When they actually win an away game in a Semi final vs the undefeated at home defending champ (Ajax), then I will give props. Maybe I'm being to harsh on them... When they beat a Mourinho coached team away 0-1 (Inter) and trash a German club (Werder) 0-3 to outright win a group! Oh hell, how about they just win an away match vs a competition winner (Porto)? What made me laugh yesterday was listening to the dumb commentators make stupid claims like Roberto being the best keeper to ever come to Greece! What? I mean sure he's great and he did make great saves in the second half but man, he also was the direct cause of 1 goal conceded! when talking about the best foreign keeper to come to Greece, only 1 name should be mentioned: Wandzig. "The mountain" was a colossus that had a commanding presence in the box. He was a master at defending corners, shot blocking, a penalty saving machine.. And he did it for years.. And you have gavroulia fan-boy commentators making stupid claims about Roberto... Sad really.
  8. Can you guys believe that PAO is still paying Seitaridis? http://www.gazzetta.gr/football/article/805391/akomi-hrosta-ston-gioyrka-o-panathinaikos He last played for us in 2013! He is still owed 500K!!!!! The club will pay him in payments until 2019!!!! Wtf?!?? How many more is this the case for?!? Leto? Cisse? Eki?? No wonder the club is burdened and isn't exactly attracting investors... Tzigger's kobina is the gift that keeps giving...
  9. http://www.zougla.gr/sports/article/pire-danio-o-g-alafouzos PAO (according to the link above) has indeed denied the report. It is suggested that Alafouzos will fork over the cash to cover the lost Euro cash.. 1 thing is certain, there is a war of propaganda going on...
  10. I'm reading Alafouzo secured another 5 Million loan... Gamiseta. They are loading the team with dept again...
  11. Well, the 49ers got creamed by the Cards... Is it too early to fire Tomsula yet? I want Holmgrem.
  12. He's been behind the increased budget this past summer:http://www.sport24.gr/football/omades/Panathinaikos/spuros-theodwropoylos-o-afanhs-xorhgos-ths-pae-panathhnaikos.3681798.html He's also a sponsor (back of our kit)
  13. ^ I get why you can be critical of the player. I really do. I just don't get why you can be so while at the same time be all over Mantzios' nuts. Yes the kolopaido had talent, but his refusal to work hard coupled with his apparent nonchalance does nothing to rage you? I'm surprised you haven't made a comment about how he seems more committed to expressing himself with his new tats rather than on the pitch... At least Essien, prior to injury, was a world elite footballer... Baggelako accomplished diddly squat by comparison (even by Greek standards) yet you still cheer for him like a schoolgirl!?!! This is where you lose me...
  14. ^^ Even if he ends up being a beast in the middle of the pitch??? ;)
  15. He also said penaltieS (as in more than the 1 they actually got after so many years) every year. Again proven wrong but the great enabler who won't read links won't address that either.
  16. How could they be the best ever when 3 franchises have more SB wins?? (Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys)
  17. Today the secondary got exposed big time and the o-line got punched in the mouth... What a schooling the Steelers gave the 49ers in a 43-18 rout... I knew we were in tough this week with Pittsburgh's explosive passing attack and the short week (on the East coast early game). Ah well, we move on... 1 encouraging thing is that when the 49ers were able to sustain the quick tempo offence, they moved the ball down the field. Also, that Torry Smith is faaaaast! Give that man the ball more often please!
  18. This face is associated with corruption across Europe whether you accept it or not.
  19. Why should he answer your question when you've been doing a fine job dodging his/our question for years? Again picking at one point while ignoring the obvious doesn't justify s%$#!. Please enable us more with your facts.
  20. I agree, with what has been said with regards to it being difficult to judge players over different generations. But what can be compared is how each player dominated his era. Although I never saw Pele play, an uncle of mine swears to this day that he was the most dominant player ever. Maradona struck the fear of God in any opposition. This is why I still consider those 2 the top 2. The way I see it, Messi and Ronaldo have not stuck out (by their standard of course) internationally on good NTs. They often are invisible or just don't make the same impact they do for their clubs.. Zidane on the other hand did stand out on a very very good NT squad that won a WC, a Euro, made it to another WC final.... Despite having the likes of Mackele, Viera, Henry, Trezeguet, Blanc, Ribiery, Pirez, Lizarazu, Anelka... Etc, it was him you noticed on the field. He willed France in wins vs much tougher opposition: Brasilian squads that were stacked, an equally impressive Italian team (in 2000) that was the model of how teams should defend. The Italians were devoted to man covering Zidane in the final of the Euro with 2 defenders at all times!!! That shows you the respect/fear they had for him. Even in 2004, when France was playing uninspired football, he alone managed to overturn a deficit vs England to win the match! This is why, for me, Zidane>>>>>>>>>>>>Messi and CR7
  21. Navarro we missed you!! Mic'd up vs Vikings: http://www.49ers.com/video/videos/Micd-Up-NaVorro-Bowman-vs-Vikings/494b3574-a571-4e73-968a-be80f6d2b86c
  22. Turnovers cost the Chiefs the game last night vs the Broncos... Manning was stifled early on by KC's stingy D but the aging star knew what to do once he kept getting the ball handed to him over and over...
