Yes a real league. Not some substandard competition in the Middle East or the NASL or the Australian A-League.

Manolas is no loss. The Manolas that's been going through the motions for the Ethniki post WC has been poor so I'll take a combination of Sokratis/Kyriakos or Moras for the next match.
Not saying that Manolas isn't one of our best because he is.

It's seriously bizarre. If EPO want to conduct their affairs like a third world organisation then they will attract the equivalent people.
We could have had a coach who's played for West Germany and the world's best clubs and managed at that level yet we hold out because Kostaki Tsana has to be part of the deal! As if he's someone who's shown us anything when he's managed the team.
We draw against a s#it Romania and he carried on like we beat Germany away in a world cup qualifier.

I never said much about Ranieri. He appears aloof and unemotional most of the time. Schuster is his polar opposite in appearance and temperament.

Schuster hasn't coached for about 12-15 months. Not an eternity but he has been out of the business which might be a good thing. He can plan his approach and do some research.
Look, Germans are an atimoi people (VW for example) but Schuster has a passion unlike the stereotype of the typical souless German.

I agree that the hype surrounding Giannou isn't realistic but he has improved and hopefully will get better. I would compare him to Vellios. I think they possess similar traits. Including the unfulfilled promise.
Klaus and Mitro are streets ahead of of them.

Nah Amorgos he was bollocks. Was lucky that he played behind decent players.
He was poor on free kicks, corners or crosses. He couldn't play with his feet and unless the ball was directly at him he normally would just stare at the ball fly past him.

Udinese has started the season poorly and Karnezis has been exposed. Last night he did his "Nikopolidis" impersonation on a Balotelli free kick. Udinese lost 3-2 in the end.
I really hope his team improves. Karnezis is a great keeper but he has his Nikopolidis moments which is concerning.

The black and white one is good (Berbatov). The white one is unspectacular and predictable (ala Tziolis) but what do you guys think about the camouflage one that Klaus is modelling?

It looks like Pelkas might be the real deal. If he was Croatian he would have left mamma and baba and signed for an Italian team already.
However that's too much pressure so let him develop properly but let's also not let him rot behind Tziolis, Kone, Lazaros and call him a talent at 23-25. By that point he either is the starting dekari for PAOK and the Ethniki or he will never be and we can have clowns like Katsouranis giving flippant interviews how the Ethniki is a select club and only players like him, Vyntra, Tziolis and Kara are worthy of being selected.
