  1. Of course they know, which is why they're looting it all. Greek debt crisis: Meet the Goldman Sachs banker who got rich getting Greece into the eurohttp://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/greek-debt-crisis-meet-the-goldman-sachs-banker-who-got-rich-getting-greece-into-the-euro-10381951.html

  3. Whilst it is disappointing that Essien is not fit (especially for someone of his fame) it is WAY too premature to call his signing a dud. He has been with us for a couple of weeks only and we havent even had a competitive game yet!! For all we know Wemmer may end up being a dud signing! Relax peoples. Give him time to prove himself, then we can crucify him if he doesn't perform. If his injuries persist, blame the club. The club after all did the medical before he signed. What did they check? His prostate only?

  4. Right now, I'd love to see all their *************. I'll cool down soon ... I think. Moderator: I know you don't mean it literally but it in these times we shouldn't make statements that can be misconstrued as threats.

  5. No that's not even close to reality. Greece has prime real estate, infrastructure and untapped potential in manufacturing and other resources that might actually be developed for Greece's benefit. Anyone who claims Greece doesn't own such assets is being dishonest. The Troika know full well what the country has.

  8. at least they will be forced to reform in certain areas...as well as using the 35 billion for growth/investment... for example Elliniko is finally being mentioned ...a master project that should have been developed into a show piece of Athens 11 years ago.

  9. Macron is terrible. How come PAOK can't get a good sponsor like PAO OLY and AEK?

  10. If I was an advisor to Tsipras right now here is what I would tell him: "Prime Minister under no circumstances you give the country away! The way this is going, is like giving the key of the country to those dogs of the north to come and create a colony out of our beloved ELLAS! I sugest we get on the plane and leave Brussells and never come back! The Greek people will never forgive you if you fall into their demands! You do not even have to say good bye to them! I will write a sing outside the plane stating" good bye Nazi asholes of Northern Europe"!

  11. Greece should not accept any of the EU's humiliating measures. Tsipras should have just led Greece out of the Euro a long time ago, now it looks like the Germans may even force Greece out anyway. But I don't really care how Greece leaves, just as long as they break free from the Eurocrats.

  12. @Bananas Skondras has played. I saw him coming on as a substitute the (first) game against Koot Azur. Odd thing was that he was not wearing nr #2 but nr #19. @Pash Rat was injured the first game and did only some trainingforms after the game with physical trainer.

  13. Mitroglou is trash, but yes, our midfield is the problem. Doesn't matter who you put as striker, they will all fail as long as the team can't string more than two passes together. But people here would rather blame Mitroglou/Gekas/Klaus/Samaras than our vaunted Samaris/Tachtsidis/Mantalos/Fortounis boys. Holebas is also garbage, especially as LB. Move him up forward and let him dribble, we'll all be happier for it.

  14. My guess as to our starting lineup is simple - the same one that started last match. These are generally our strongest players (although I'd argue that Sotiris should start instead of Tzavellas). As Bananas noted, we've been using wingers instead of fullbacks as these wingbacks; I'm guessing that's not just so Tudor can check them out - he plans to actually start them. Even if Tziolis drops back to cover as a CB, I think this is a very aggressive lineup, as we're essentially playing with four wingers and one super-aggressive DM (Kace). I think Salpi will definitely see some time, might even start. He's looked good each time he's played in our friendlies, and he's the only CF we actually have out there. Mistikidis might be an option to start over Mak as well.

  15. There are sections within the Troika who are just in it to humiliate and crush Greece even if they end up wrecking the Eurozone and it's become obvious that you can't negotiate with these people. Schauble is 73 years old. I now agree with him that the retirement age should be 70. I wish it was in Germany so this demented and evil nazi wouldn't be meddling with the lives of innocent people. Let him go back to wheeling his chair in a teutonic garden humming his SS ditties. Why should a 5, 10, 18 yo in Greece have to suffer because some mean spirited vindictive nazi can't get over the fact his feelings were hurt? This isn't about politics any more. I couldn't care less for SYRIZA and Tsipras and the side show of right and left pseudo-politics in Greece. The demands that petty politicians from Germany, Finland, Latvia and the others have towards Greece are an affront to fairness, let alone democracy and simply, they are terrorism! Kick out SYRIZA and elect the most pliable and treasonous (from a Greek perspective) government of technocrats and those in charge in the EZ sole mission would still be to humiliate and defile Greece. There's no diplomacy on show here. Just crude greed and personal vendetta. It's game over. We enter a new phase now.
