Lazarus
A vulnerability in a component of the OpenX advertising platform - the advertising server we were using at Phantis - has been exploited by hackers. Any one visiting the sites www.phantis.gr and sports.phantis.com may have seen a report attack page similar to: After we determined the attack was real we took the site offline until we could figure out what happened. We deleted all files belonging to OpenX server platform, and discontinued its usage on Phantis. As I write this, we are blacklisted by Google Chrome and the StopBadware sites. We have submitted the sites for review, and hopefully we'll be on the "good guys" side some time soon. Phantis was not the only site affected. Hackers haver tampered with ad serving on multiple websites including The Pirate Bay, Tucows and AfterDawn.
