as for spain - ukraine ......yes it was 4-0 but it didnt really deserve a 4-0 score IMO...

yes the first goal was a bad mistake on marking followed by lousy goalkeeping that happens all is fair....

but then the Spanish score a big deflection and a "penalty" (which gave a red to a Ukraine player)......the penalty on the replay shows clearly Villa just tripped up on himself... Spain would have still won and deserved to but i think the 4-0 just wasnt accurate account of how each team played...

the last goal was a work of art....and a great finish from FERNANDO :nw:

by the way, Saudi players were NOT allowed by the kingdom to play outside their domestic leagues... They are now only allowed to play in Arabian leagues (Qatar, UAE...etc).... ;)

Yes its official. Up until a couple of years ago they werent even allowed to play in the other arab leagues, just Saudi. Its to do with religion I think.
