athinaios Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Guys, I watched the game, and this is my honest opinion: 1st half, PAO was really bad. 2nd half PAO could have easily won the game, but couldn't finish. All of our players steped up, with one exception: Flavio--a total waste of space/player. He had one great shot, but for most of the game he walked, and when he passed the ball he sent it safely backwards! He's not worth $100 in my opinion. Nilson needs to improve. Luckily Soares couldn't shoot straight. Now, AEK's goal was clearly off side. It started off side, and the last touch 2 AEK players were off side. Second goal... I don't know what to make of it, because Vyntra (who wasn't in the game) touched the ball... then there was a confusion, Gali should have handled the ball, someone cleared it and a lucky but beautiful shot from 40 yards away went it. Good show, but the game had been decided by then. Third goal didn't mean anything. If I were to decide on performance, I'd say the teams tied overall.
