Spiro Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 Canadian regional sports network Rogers Sportsnet announced that it has sublicensed several World Cup 2006 matches for broadcast on The Sports Network (TSN), as well as the World Cup 2006 Final match to broadcast network CTV. All 64 World Cup matches will be televised in English for the first time in Canada. Canadian media and communications conglomerate BCE owns majority stakes in CTV and TSN. Not quite...I think the news release is supposed to state that all 64 World Cup matches will be televised in English LIVE for the first time in Canada.
