There are several newspapers claiming that Galatasaray are interested in signing Rui Costa and Solari. The usual stuff is underway again. Our idiotic newspapers created five-six worldwide players in the market and they're circulating our clubs every day. Yesterday one paper wrote that Ze Roberto was about to join Fener now the same paper makes a headline of the same player joining Galatasaray. By the way, our Sporting Director Bulent Tulun officially announced that they refrained from signing Buffel because of his excessive fee and Bart Goor because of his age. The paper also stated that Galatasaray offered him a yearly wage of €4.5M. - Fenerbahce switched targets as they are now interested in Club Brugge's left-sided midfielder Timmy Simmons. Lyon tabled a €7.6M bid for the Philippine-born Norwegian striker and financially-troubled Besiktas accepted the offer. You can read the details of the news in BJK thread and also by listening to NTV Sports... By the way, I don't believe in any of the so-called signings. Our clubs don't have the budget to attract players such as Kily or Denilson. The only signing that looks available to me out of these rumours is the signing of Igor Andrija Biscan from Liverpool but with a big question mark as well. Ribery had a poor ethical character. that's what we'resure about. having a contract to last for 2,5 seasons with team A and signing as if he were a free agent with team B. not the sort of player you would wanna see in your team. true that he was the loveling of the fans but his move badly hurt his reputation among CimBom fans as well... BESIKTAS JK After letting Carew go, Blackeagles are believed to be targeting cash-strapped Sociedad's target man Darko Kovacevic. The current situation at Anoeta is not clear and the price tag of €4.5M for Darko may be a hindrace for the move. GALATASARAY SK There are some reports that The Lions signed a three-year-deal with Argentine playmaker Federico Insua but nothing has been officially announced yet. In addition, Galatasaray are widely-tipped to land another Argentine player, out-of-favour left-sided forward of Inter, Kily Gonzalez. FENERBAHCE SK After officially making Nihat offer to Sociedad, Fenerbahce are still awaiting an answer for their €7.5M bid. Nihat's move to CSKA was called off after the player did not want to leave Anoeta for Moscow. TRABZONSPOR If Tolga makes a move away from Avni Aker, Trabzonspor will try to replace him with a Polish defender, either Dariusz Zuraw or Tomasz Klos according to several quarters. One player that is also tipped to arrive in Trabzon is Sparta Praha's centre back Jiri Homola. To conclude, Deportivo La Coruna withdrew their bid for Trabzonspor striker Tekke Fatih. A week ago the Spanish club offered €4.8M for Turkish topscorer but Trabzonspor wanted €10M for the player and negotiations were immediately put on hold. The 22 year-old custodian who signed a 3+2 year contract with Trabzonspor was playing on loan at Botafogo. This signing was confirmed exactly the day after Australian goalie Michael Petkovic's contract was annulled. The Dutch born player made only 10 appearances for Besiktas last season, largely underperforming. By signing the 4-times Turkish international, FC Porto have also filled the vacant right-back spot after the €10M sale of Greek right-back Giourkas Seitaridis to Dynamo Moskva. GALATASARAY PEN DEAL WITH SASA ILIC Galatasaray SK signed a 3+1 year contract with Serbian League player of the year Sasa Ilic on a free transfer. The midfield playmaker who will turn 28 on his next birthday, played for Partizan Beograd for 8 seasons, making 242 appearances and scoring 67 goals on the way. He also played half a season's loan at RC Celta in 2004, scoring once in 13 appeaances. The deal will cover a €1.1M per year deal for the first two seasons and the player will earn a €950k for the third year. Galatasaray keeps the option to extend his contract for one further year. MONDI - PALERMO BOUND ? Galatasaray goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon declared that he does not want to go back to Galatasaray under any circumstances.
