drakos13 Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 away goals shouldnt count in extra time.....its an unfair advantage i like away goals theyre fair but if two legs tie 1-1 after 90 mins- after that point every away goal is worth 2 vs the 1 for the home team- i understand its fair in the 90 minute play but in the additional time its basically an unfair advantage given to the team that gets to be away for the second leg.... if they were bound to tie 1-1 both matches then basically one team gets the advantage based on the luck of being drawn away for the 2nd leg...... CH-Thrylos Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 the last two days must have been very hard for the dutch. two teams being just minutes away of a possible final participation in the uefa cup and the cl. but the netherlands now surely have quite an advantage of points compared to the greek teams in the ranking. the same counts for portugal who has another finalist this year. it'll be hard to get back to sixth place for greece.
