Arsenal went through to the last 8 of the FA cup after winning on penalties against a spirited Sheffield United.

Arsenal dominated most of the match, but clear chances were created by both sides, but were denied by a combination of poor finishing and excellent goalkeeping. Never boring despite the lack of goals, it was a fine example of a smaller club giving every last ounce of energy against the big boys - and almost snatching victory at the end.

With the game going to penalties, the game was effectively over before the first spot kick was taken: United's keeper Paddy Kenny played the entire game carrying an injury which prevented him diving to his right.

You've guessed it - the ever 'professional' Arsenal played every penalty to the keepers right!
