nick
will antenna stioll be showing olympiakos games???? and will ert be showing games from supersport again or what???
Ziaka
Too early to tell, but since Olympiakos is now with Alpha TV as opposed to Magic TV, I don't expect Antenna being able to acquire the rights to the games. As for ERT-Sat carrying Supersport game, the chance of that is probably good that they will continue to do that.
Yaniotis1
If Panathinaikos signs with NETMED, will ERT SAT show the games like this year. And if not ERTSAT will any other channels that are shown here in the States show their games? Like Antenna and Mega Cosmos.
Ziaka
Like I said above, I expect ERT to make a deal with NETMED to show some of the Supersport games. The deal ERT made in the past with NETMED was part of the rigts to the 3-minute highlites from the games to show on Athlitiki Kyriaki. As part of the deal NETMED let ERT show their games on ERT-Sat on tape delay basis. As long as ERT continues to have Athlitiki Kyriaki, I expect them to make the same deal with NETMED. However nothing is for sure. We will find out more when we get close to the championship season. As far as Antenna Sat and/or MEGA Cosmos showing games, the best chance is Antenna. They have shown games in the past. The quiestion is if they are willing to spend money on getting the rights. Only time will tell if and how much Greek soccer we will see next season. Ziaka
Latest on the TV rights for Panathinaikos is that PAE PAO have a deal with NETMED (2 years at 7 million Euro) ready, and the only thing remaining are signatures. However, Alpha TV supposedly made a last minute counter-offer, which is holding up the completion of the deal.

Vasili0s
Not looking good for the America and Australia based Omogenoi...Hopefully antenna dishes out some cash, otherwise it looks to be one or two matches per matchday and on tape delay via ERT <_<

Vasili0s
The Prwta0lhma will officially begin on September the 19th. It seems to me, everything is flowing according to last year, the only difference is Olympiakos signing with ALPHA as opposed to NETMED who had agreed last season to air OSFP's home games on ANT 1 live. Any late news Ziaka ? Shall we all find the apporopriate emails post them here and begin with the bothering emails ? Lets do something about this situation we have to face every frickin season. Ziaka
I have no late news. The only rumor I heard is that Setanta Sport might be trying to get the rights for North America. However I don't who they are trying to get them from (Alpha, NETMED or both). Having said that though, I think it will be a bad move if Setanta gets the rights, as they will most likely make the games available only on Closed Circuit TV or as PPV package on some satellite provider.
