ukchris
I'm off to see Blackburn tomorrow night with my stepdad (who supports them). Sure people will be asking how Derbyshire's getting on out there. Has he been playing? Has he been doing well?
NikosVazelas
two appearances, 1 shot, 0 on target... Pretty dissapointing so far.
ukchris
Ah. Not so good then.
Crazy
He has not played many minutes and also he has been playing in different positions.I believe that he needs more time to learn the other players game a little bit more.
DUDE
When he has played he hasn't done anything though. Personally I prefer Mitroglou, but Matt can easily endear himself to me with a hatrick against St Etienne :P
DUDE
Matt Derbyshire had a very good game last night. He looked lively. If he keeps working as hard he could end up staying with us.
Morphi
He needs to play. Once he will be given a fair chance, I can promise you we will be a great player for your team.
Irlandos
Derbyshire, let's not forget, also helped OSFP go through to the next round of the Greek Cup with a crucial ET goal v. PAOK.
Morphi
Yeah and scored again in the league!

Irlandos
Matt Derbyshire came on as a late sustitute v. Iraklis and scored two goals in the last 10 minutes of play!
ukchris
Did you see he scored twice for England U21s last night, in their 5-0 win against Norway. In fact, he also scored with his first touch when he came on as substitute, but it was disallowed. Seems like he's on form at the moment... Morphi
Yes, and he scored again Panionios. I can't see him going back to Blackburn now.
ukchris
I see he scored again on Sunday. Seems to be settling in nicely now. Have the fans warmed to him?
ukchris
Seems Mr Derbyshire saved the best til last! Sounds like yesterday's cup final was an astonishing match. Well done Olympiacos and well done Matt Derbyshire!
Kanadezos
Seems Mr Derbyshire saved the best til last! Sounds like yesterday's cup final was an astonishing match. Well done Olympiacos and well done Matt Derbyshire! He has been "Mr. Goal" coming off the bench... I would like to see him stay!
Crazy
He has been "Mr. Goal" coming off the bench... I would like to see him stay! Kokkalis does not want to continue the loan,he was to buy the player and i am totally with him.
Morphi
I told you he was going to be a cracker. Can't wait to see him in the CL next season!
Crazy
I told you he was going to be a cracker. Can't wait to see him in the CL next season! As far as i am concerned,i am more worried about keeping Derbyshire to our club than Leto.He is a real goalscorer and you can teach that, you either have it or you dont and this boy surelly has it. Morphi
Seems to be having a good season since coming back from injury (came back a bit late unfortunately).
Kanadezos
For the last little while, I have read that Coach Linen doesn't want him on the team (Is this true?) Personally, I think that would be a big mistake removing a goal scoring threat like him. What do you guys think?
drakos13
I think he was never anything special.....Mitroglou is a better striker in all honestly. People just rated him and got all excited about him because he came from England. As if English youth is anything special..
Euro2004
he's a good finisher and works very hard. for a team like olympiakos he's useful because they'll always create chances in greece and because he can finish he'll get goals. i firmly believe every team needs 4 strikers. 2 starters, one sub not far behind in his ability and one that is a talented back up. Derbyshire is a decent 4th choice striker, no more than that though
Irlandos
He's been plagued with injuries. Derbyshire is a fine striker and I would rate him above Diogo and Rommedahl.
evalagoal
He's a great player to have on the roster.... What's wrong w/ having this guy play for us during Greek Cup matches or games like the 2nd round of Besa where the game(s) have been already decided... Plus you never know about season long injuries... KEEP HIM Linen!
