AEK vs Ionikos

Afte the euphoria of the CL qualifying win I think it will be tough for the players to get back on track against Ionikos in our first 'home' match at Nea Smyrni. I think we may struggle but will win by the odd goal.

What do you guys think?

i say we will win 2-0 or something......as long as we win.

we have a couple of injuries to worry about with greg, kassapis and possibly tsiartas (but he should be ok).

it's a crucial match in the scheme of things especially playing at our 'new home ground'.

Apparently Nea Smyrni went under some improvements in the off season. The new pitch apparently is UEFA standard and there were improvements made to the facilities and stands to be up to European standard. Any one have any pictures?

Easy win.....I have no doubts we will crush these guys. CL draw will not affect us.

Look for Geo and Lybe to be rested from the starting line-up. Nails will come in, whilst Kasspis and Mwras will also play.

i don't want to consider anything but a win.

however, this game is tricky. these teams play defense en masse, try to destroy your game and your legs. we better use players that didn't play last wed. or didn't play the whole game to avoid fatigue.
