Ataturk, later, deemed this day as the Youth and Sports Day. Because he trusted in Turkish youth, because he trusted in Turkey's will for sporting play.. :unsure:

Yesterday was May 19, 2007.. It was supposed to be the 343rd match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, one of the oldest and so-called greatest derbies in the world. It was at Ali Sami Yen stadium, Galatasaray's home.

Galatasaray fans were furious against their chairman for a long long time. Galatasaray fans were furious against Fenerbahce board members for a long long time. They had their reasons, right or wrong..

Galatasaray fans were furious against the treatment they had in the derby at Fenerbahce's stadium earlier this season. Galatasaray fans were furious that a high-decibel voice bomb exploded near Mondragon.

NOTHING GIVES A FAN RIGHT TO SHOUT AND CELEBRATE MADLY WHEN A PLAYER OF YOUR TEAM --namely that CIHAN idiot-- DELIBERATELY BODY CHECKS THE OPPONNENT.. :nono:

PS: Please Fenerbahce or BJK fans, don't get into the stupidity of "Oh, it's Galatasaray fans, it's nothing special or it has nothing to do with us!" because we all know it's far far far beyond that.. Yesterday was the ANTI-CLIMAX of a long long long journey backwards ever since Confederations Cup 2003..
