Actually I disagree with you on a few things. First, I think Giannoulis is better offensively than Tsimikas. But I agree with you that he’s a better defender than Giannoulis. Also, you’re not giving enough credit to Holebas. He was a very good LB for a number of years who has had a great career. Played in Premier league for many years and actually did well. What makes Tsimikas “world class”? Not sure if that was you who said it but someone did. Is it cause he is on Liverpool? If that’s the case, Wague woulda blown away competition since he’s a Barcelona kid, but we all know he didn’t do that. I’m not discrediting Tsimikas as I think he’s a hell of a player. But as some people said on here that Giannoulis isn’t NT worthy? That’s just troll worthy right there. I wouldn’t say either of them are backups to either. You match up against opponents. Against teams where you are gonna sit back, you play Tsimikas. Against teams where you press high and look to control the game you play Giannoulis.

I think the key saying is “we should not fear them.” Shoot , Tzolis is an 18 year old going up against Benfica, Besiktas, PSV, etc... Yes , they mostly have better players, but better players do not always win games. We have to believe that we will win (players not us fans). I think the team is confident in themselves and each other that they can contend with sweden

Correct. Needs to start at a grassroots level. But interest needs to be there first. If you can get a couple quality players to go overseas and play for PAOK, then we may do better in Europe , raising awareness for the team. Then we could start doing clinics, camps, etc...

It’s a goal and dream of mine to go work over there with the women’s soccer federation and help improve it. I coach in the US at a high level for women’s soccer and I want to help create a feeder system between girls here and there that can improve the quality of play.

I agree with you but what good things has he shown this year ? I can’t say I watch his games but people can’t see one good game in 5 years and say this guy is national team material. He’s played 6 games for Volos and only started 1. There’s roughly 20 Greeks i would chose over him in the middle of the field.
