I hope he's learned a few lessons from the Sweden game and continues with that style and hopefully he now has learned if the team is up by a goal they cant just sit back it has burned us every time he needs them to keep pushing forward.
I agree that the midfielders need work, but I’m pretty sure it’s easier to score in the Austrian league than it is to score on an international level.

How can you guys call fountas out best striker and finisher? He’s 26 and has never scored an international goal. That’s absurd.

The coach is terrible sure I get that. But it’s not like he has so much talent to choose from. Tsimikas doesn’t look like a Liverpool player to me. Vlachodimos is so overrated it’s not funny. He’s in no mans land during that last goal. Either come out or stay in don’t just flail at the ball like a fish out of water. Mavropanos needs to retire at 22. Soccer isn’t for him.

I’m not saying JVS is a good coach or a bad one for that matter. I’m just wondering how many coaches are we going to go through, before we start blaming the lack of talent. From all the guys that were called up maybe 2 or 3 actually play on good teams? I hard to win when you’re calling up players from teams that most Chinese orphans can beat.

Mavropanos is garbage. Damn that guy is a disaster every game. On Saturday he scored but defensively he was terrible.

I wouldn’t worry at all what happens in the other matches. It’s early still. Every team controls their own fate. Ifgreece wins all their matches they’ll win the group. That’s all they have to worry about. Taking care of their own business

Very positive performance for Pelkas, and someone who doesn’t often get the recognition he deserves is vlachodimos. When he is at goal I feel so much more confident in our defense. Enjoyed the no BS defending of Kpap and tzavellas, although we will need to replace him long term.

I have not been too impressed with him, I don’t mind him on the NT But you’d expect better from someone who’s training daily with Liverpool. Anyone else feels “ehh” about him?
I agree with you. In the first half he gave the ball away like 6 times. He doesn’t look like Liverpool material to me. Nevertheless, maybe he had a bad game. We will see when it counts again.

All of you JVS haters please take note that we are undefeated in our last 13 matches (7 wins and 6 draws). I don't even know if Rehhagel and Santos ever accomplished that.
