Disappointing performance the way Poyet set up the team and we were clearly lacking at the back missing Mavropanos & Baldock. Also our midfield was over matched. Losing the match hurts but by 3 nil for head to head tiebreaker and it should have been more if not for Vlachodimos. This all coming off such a positive gutsy performance in France. I hope Poyet gets the selection right especially next month when we travel to Ireland and home to Holland. We’re going to need the Irish to get a result today and we will need to beat Holland.

I was expecting a tight game even possibly a draw vs a Dutch side which has been struggling and missing Depay up front. Instead we saw Greece put up no fight and we looked clueless in defence which we have not seen in years.

Yes we need Ireland to get a draw but that looks like a tall task. Missing Mavropanos and Baldock was a huge blow. Also Fortounis can’t have a spot on this team? The midfield play was atrocious.

Good points. Poyet has turned the NT fortunes around. It’s a shame Fortounis retired from international duty. I was thinking he would be on the team this go around. Always said he was such a top class footballer. Anyways if we get 4pts it will be a success.

Have not seen any squad announcement. Fortounis has been amazing the last few matches for Olympiakos! Would love to see him back.

If Greece get a draw it will be a good result. If we can get a win in Holland it will almost lock up qualification as we would be 6pts ahead of the Dutch and have the head to head tiebreaker.
