J1078 definitely a tough draw. Good points by you. I just wanted us to avoid France at all costs. They have way to much quality and are top favourites to win the wcup again. Let’s hope we can pull off a win with Holland they are a great side but in the last Euros the Czechs dominated them in the knock out round. Let’s see how they do at the World Cup & as I mentioned Koeman is taking over the helm. At least Greece have the playoff and at this point in time we would play Turkey in Greece. Georgia vs Kazakhstan is the other semi final at this time.

The results over the last few years with Ange & JVS at the helm have put us in this spot. Ange screwed up our Euro 2020 campaign losing at home to Armenia? JVS got a few results most notably a draw vs Spain and beating Sweden but he was unable to defeat Slovenia in NL group and the draws in World Cup qualifying to Kosovo & Georgia not only took our ranking down but cost Greece a chance at a wcup playoff. Poyet has come in and done a solid job so far but now he will need to get everything right in this group for us to get 2nd place. I think France will take 1st. Holland is a great team but they have had some terrible campaigns recently missing out in euro 2016 & 2018 World Cup. Koeman will be taking over after the wcup and he is a terrible manager. Greece can come up with a win vs Holland. We show up for games vs the bigger nations and it would be good to play them right of the bat. My concern is we don’t slip up vs Ireland who we should beat twice based on their form over the last few years under Stephen Kenny.

Terrible draw! One of the toughest groups along with Italy & England Ukraine group.

1st half was ok. The 2nd was horrendous and they didn’t create much. Oleg & Cisse were just giving the ball away too much.

PAO with a poor 1st half but in the second they picked it up and moved the ball better.

England at this time are a mess. They finally scored their first goal from open play in 5 games. Defensively they are a mess with Maguire bumbling play at the back. I don’t want to see Switzerland we always struggle vs them and they always find away to get in the top 2 spots. In World Cup qualifying they even topped Italy.

Hungary Israel Armenia GREECE Gibraltar I would not mind if we get Belgium with the rest of these countries and they take full points from everyone except us. Greece have played them well & gotten results of them recently.

Austria would not be bad to draw. I definitely agree that we don’t want Serbia. They won their NL group & Mitrovich is firing in tonnes of goals. Plus they have a lot of other dangerous players too.

This would be an incredible draw! Hungary are in good form lately but Greece can compete with them. We must avoid Spain, France and Sweden grouping.

Disappointing result for Cyprus especially vs Kosovo. The good news is that N. Ireland finished bottom of the group and they will go to relegation playoff.

France and England are in POT 2. How is Armenia in Pot 3? Would not mind drawing them and Bosnia from POT 2 would be a great draw.

Ok thanks for the info. If Greece get Israel for example it would be good. Poyet completed his first objective with NT winning the group and gaining promotion to League B something his predecessor could not do. Also the team is playing nice attacking football and today crated many opportunities. Greece just have to focus a bit more on the defensive side as they did in the first four games of the NL. Impressive performances by most of the players especially Bakasetas & I really liked Baldock how he joined in the attack and delivered some nice crosses. Can’t wait for the Euro draw.
