This team is broke. It won't be fixed in time for the qualifiers. So much work needs to be done. Im sorry to be so negative but you could see the downfall from 2014. Final straw was finishing 3rd in the nations cup. A competition that was so easy for us to finish 1st and get into the playoffs. The 3rd division. The 3rd division let that sink in.

Lol we can't top a group consisting of Finland , Hungary and Estonia but now we will finish 2nd in this group. ??? We can dream. But I think it's time to wake up. I agree with those who say it doesn't matter who we get tomorrow. we need to win and finish at least 2nd. But really I know how this will turn out. This is not a overnight fix. Favourable draw? When you are in pot 4 there is no favourable draw. We are screwed. Forget about 2020 we won't qualify. Of course there's always a chance but come on. Pot 4. It's impossible with this team. We blew it. Uefa has made it easy to qualify through this nations cup. If we only finished 1st we would have been guaranteed a playoff spot. Even if we finished as best 2nd or even 2nd best 2nd place the chance of getting a playoff spot was good. But we couldn't even do it in a group with Finland, Hungary and Estonia. We finish 3rd lol. We won't be at the Euros. Look at 2016 when the 3rd place was guaranteed a playoff spot so easy but we finished last in the group ??? mark my words unless there's a massive shake up with the FA, money invested at grassroots, infrastructure built, good coaches we won't qualify for another tournament for a long time. Decades. Just look at portugal. I watched a documentary on their soccer program. Back in the early nineties they decided to invest in infrastructure and youth development, good youth coaches and they just built another advance complex for training this year. Look at the players they produce, how far they get in tournaments. They are in the nations league final in June. To much greed and corruption in Greece.

Its already over. Today we play for pride that it. We are in pot 4 with the minnows lmfao. No way we can finish 2nd in a group when we are coming from pot 4. And to make matters worse we will probably be 4th place 2nd place team in group C come Tuesday. Giving us no hope of a back door entrance. As if being 3rd would help. Its over before it started. Only top 2 qualify. That's 20 teams. That is why this tournament was so important to finish 1st. The other 4 places come from this. The winners of their groups will play a mini tournament for the next 4 spots. That's the seller. For instance group D you can have Kosovo or Macedonia qualifying. We also screwed up 2ndplace. So if a team from group C who finished 1st qualifies by the regular tournament there playoff spot would go to the next best group C 2nd place finish. Greece at the moment is 3rd best 2nd, but by Tuesday if Romania win will be 4th. 3rd is already almost impossible. Unless the 3 group c winners qualify through tournament which would never happen lol being 4th is impossible. Never say never but Greece going into group stages as a pot 4 is pretty much over. Lol we had it in our hands a group made of Finland, Hungary and Estonia. We of course s%$#! the bed. How far we have fallen. We probably won't recover from this. We are 3rd 2nd place in group C. If Romania win Tuesday we will be 4th 2ndplace team. Basically killing our chances for a playoff spot if it is actually needed. And no matter what happens today we are in pot 4. Basically boys and girls our chances of going to the next tournament are over.

But it says pot 4 is teams ranked 31 and lower. Greece is now at 31. This is not counting 1st Estonia game. Meaning next game won't count either so we can't move up. Looks like we are in pot 4. If im understanding the rules

Looks like Greece has slipped one spot to 31, with Scotland's win today. Meaning pot 4. Even if we beat Estonia and secure 2nd place which gives us a very slim hope for playoffs. The results against Estonia wont count meaning we stay in pot 4 for the draw? That's what I'm getting

What a disater this campaign has been. The 3rd division of Europe and we fall short. As it stands we are ranked 30 in the nations league meaning pot 3 for qualifiers. 30 is the last place in pot 3 meaning a loss or tie with Estonia and we could end up in pot 4 for the qualifiers we are screwed. We will have 2 contenders to deal maybe 3 to qualify

Thanks for posting the right information. I was way off. I guess I read the wrong info. Sorry from what I'm reading Greece would get a play off spot if they finish 2nd to Finland. But Finland would have to already qualify through regular qualifiers for that to happen. I don't think Finland is that good lol

No. Nations league gets 4 spots. 1 for each group. Because they want to include smaller nations.

Guys it's so simple. There are 4 groups. A B C and D. In each of those groups are 4 groups. So let's do group D. So in D there's a group 1 2 3 and 4. The first place team of each of those groups plays in a play off for 1 spot in the Euro2020. Plus each first place gets promoted to group C. It's the same for group A B and C. Except the last place teams get relegated with the 1st place getting promoted. There are 4 spots for Euros available through this process. Means even Luxembourg has a chance to be at Euros lol this was meant as a FairPlay for the smaller nations.

Depends how you look at it. Is it a good thing? I don't think so. We have to finish 1st in a group of 3. Then we have to play the other 3 group winners for 1 spot in group C. Some might say easy way to go. But now in the regular qualifiers only the top 2 in each group go. 10 groups =20 teams. If we didn't have this nations league than the 8 best 3rd place would go into playoffs for last 4 teams. Greece has slipped in the rankings big time. Meaning we could get a group of death in qualifiers. 3rd place would sure come in handy in a situation like that. I'm not in favour of this nations league. It's going to screw us.
