Nice Call Ups to be honest. If you extract Vyntra and Athanasiadis and put in their places Stafylidis and Mantalos its literally the best we got. But Mantalos was kinda injured and every coach in Greece HAD to use Vyntra once so we can't judge him. I dont understand people saying too many things about corruptions. Ok dude , we get it. You don't like Tzavelas or Athanasiadis or Aravidis. But taking young players who are playing for teams like Panionios or are the 3rd choice winger on a Panathinaikos that plays without wingers is not the answer. I mean I feel what you are saying, that they have scored lots of goals in Greece, but, does scoring versus Platanias,Levadiakos,Veroia make them good players? Did these players score goals versus Olympiakos or Panathinaikos ? The only 2 teams that have already gone high in points ? It's simple. 11 matches in Premier League and Arsenal are first. not only looking at that but they have already played with 7 out of the top 10 teams in the table right now. there are many chances that they will forfeit CL because they might end up in Europa League which is a waste of energy and time for them.

the problem u are mentioning in the defence , actually lies in offence. how many times did the defenders, even the cbs have to play high to help the mid/attack ? in most of the games we saw the same 4 that were used in the WC. lloyd,sokratis,manolas,torosidis and we didnt concede so many from much better teams (exclude colombia). so what is there to fix since this defence proved itself in a much higher competition ? thedifference since wc and wc qualifiers were creative players like katagounis,katsouranis,samaras even salpi. also a very fast and good at marking 6ari was taken from us ,maniatis(his shot sucks but his absence proved crucial) at such situations , where u re the favorite when a world class defender like sokratis sees his offence unable to score again shittyy teams he ll go press and try to be offensive, because they are expected to win.because they must win and they have to win. im pretty sure all the coaches told them to do so many times as well

why is everyone crying for the 3 goals we conceded seriously ? our defence was full of substitutes... i heard the greek commentator saying something about moras playing coz "this is probably his last game with the ethniki". manolas didnt play , k.paps didnt play , the substitude defender was making a debut and he is young , stafylidis sub , kitsiou not even a 100% defender. I like this NT. I won't get hyped over just 1 game , and I think that's the proper thing to do. 4 goals is something we never saw really, at least not since I have been watching football. 3 goals against was too much to be honest , but apart from sokratis, none of our starter defenders really played , neither manolas/kyriakos at cbs nor torosidis (who in my opinion still has 1-2 more years to give his services). cholebas played a little but it was obvious that the coach's instructions were to play aggressive, so not much defending was seen of him ( I really hope im right and that those mistakes that he made we re not typical cholebas mistakes) lets hope from november , not just from the qualifiers but from the upcoming friendlies, we see the same as tonight.

Mantalos and pelkas seem players with potential , along with fortounis. but in a serious starting eleven only 2 out of 3 of them will be able to play MAX. and since the whole winger thing doesn't seem to do any good to the greek teams a 4-3-2-1 or a 4-2-3-1 could suit our current roster options. Dortmund was preparing for the Bundesliga derby against their biggest rivals Bayern. Apart from that some of their key players didnt play. Good win in paper , as noone will remember that when this happened , BVB were playing Bayern afterwards and they didnt even use some core players , but it was just a game. I think ( in my Olympiakos opinion) that after tonight's defeat this European result should stop being discussed. Tudor's plan/ Starting 11 have been solved in Greece,he needs a new system. This year's Olympiakos is very unpredictable. Firt UCL Match ( I will only be using UCL matches as examples because we haven't had any Derbies in GSL) they played full defense and lost 3-0. Now they opened up and with not a very good Da Costa substitution , with Botja taking his place, we managed to get less goals from a far more threatening Offence (Champerlain, Wallcott,Sanches,Ozil) and we conceded only 2 goals , while we also scored 3. We literally bought 5 Attacking Players this year, Ideye,Finnbog,Pardo,Hernani,Seba. I was displeased with the fact that we didn't even score once against Bayern. Even vs Bayern, since we spent so many money on Offense we should have scored. Maybe it's just that the Coach put a very defensive mentality for that match in their Brains. Today, however, the goal scorers did their deed. To sum up, this team is good , its champions league level (they can play defence against a mighty , title winning favorite Bayern, despite the result, they can win fast pace teams like Arsenal - as proved today), but as I said before its very unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't manage to get the full 6 points out of Zagreb. 4 or maybe 3 seems something possible as well. I expect Arsenal to get Maximum 2 points in the oncoming games vs Bayern, since this Bayern is not just Bayern, it's Lewa-motherf*cking-ndowski on fire Bayern. Which means that if in the next on going games we get 4 points it might not be enough for us if we lose the last 2. Don't get your hopes up yet lads. It's too soon. They are missing lots of players. If we lose with more than 1 goal-difference its a disgrace. Also would be nice to get a draw , since when we play vs them at Munchen they ll have most of their key players that they are right now missing , in form. 1 Point from them , 6 points from Zagreb and 3 points from Arsenal should be enough to get us kicked at the Round of 16.
