  1. I think my predictions were pretty spot on... 1) Marinakis will pay a fine (50-70k) to avoid the slammer 2) He'll get a temporary restriction for leaving the country and a suspension from soccer 3) Olympiakos will not be implicated 4) Marinakis will apply for an appeal and it will be granted so he'll be free to do whatever he wants 4) Vrentzos or Kokkalis will assume the presidency till everything is sorted out 1) The fine is much bigger than I imagined, but for him thats a drop in teh bucket 2) Slight variation from what I mentioned... he's able to travel but needs to be at the police every 15 days.... 3) Olympiakos is still not implicated 4) Marinakis is filing for an appeal as we speak 5) Vrentzos is "manning' the ship for now... although Marinakis still owns the team... we know who really is pulling the strings.... How are they going to monitor Marinaki's involvment with Greek soccer especially when he is majority shareholder?
  2. Here are some previous examples on why Olympiakos will not be punished.....God bless Greece!
  3. So you think Marinakis will get going to jail (or at lesat pay a LARGE fine) to avoid jail... Olympiakos will be denied euro competition and the organization will be running around with it's head cut off?
  4. This is what would be IDEAL for me at least... and to put an end to the circus we have been apart of for many years... 1) Marinakis goes to jail (with no bail) and he's found guilty of match fixing, running the criminal organization and attempted murder 2) Olympiakos gets some sort of punishment whether it be exclusion from Europe or relegation or SOMETHING has to happen to the club... 3) The other "cronies" at Olympiakos get similar punishsment... that whole management/corporation is DIRTY Now what will most likely happen... 1) Marinakis will pay a fine (50-70k) to avoid the slammer 2) He'll get a temporary restriction for leaving the country and a suspension from soccer 3) Olympiakos will not be implicated 4) Marinakis will apply for an appeal and it will be granted so he'll be free to do whatever he wants 4) Vrentzos or Kokkalis will assume the presidency till everything is sorted out Our best bet is the 2nd trial he has with the Heroine charges.... But in that case.. we are only getting rid of one person (Marinaki) not the system.... regardless.. i guess its a start
  5. Thanks for the video though... was pretty entertaining lol
  6. Beos went to jail for a few months... Now he's free and about I'm pretty sure he's involved in soccer in some way, shape or form.... so much for being 'banned from soccer for life" As for Marinaki... OK lets say he does get the same punishment... He has PLENTY of people that will pull the strings for him while he is away... For instance... No. 1 katharma.... Vrentzos Not to mention, Kokkali (we all know how squeaky clean he is).. is right around the corner and there was rumbling that he could take the presidency and run the club as well... LIke I said... you take off one head... 3 others grow in its place.... Unless there is some HARDCORE punishments to people and clubs... this circus will continue
  7. also wasn't beos given the same punishment but he also is now runnIng around now and isnt he involved in some way with soccer in volos
  8. Its like a hydra... Cut off one head and 3 grow in the place. .. these guys got some amazing lawyers.... Next yr more of the same
  9. Sarris got off light.... This is bullshit...
  10. Auto to video pou kollaei;; Did they take every single touch he had in Italy and put in a video?............................
  11. That thing is a cancer... been saying it all along
  12. Wow...Alafouzo doesn't want to leave anything to chance He's going to bring some facts/information to UEFA in hope of implicating Olympiakos and kicking them out of Europe.... HUGE if he's able to do anything.... but I'm holding a small basket
  13. Here's some wishful thinking.... Is there an underlying reason why Olympiakos has been very slow to get their stuff in order? Is there a reason why a lot of their players are on their way out? Is there a reason why they are hesitant to make any major signings? (Ok they made a few signings w/ Giannotas and a few other young greek kids, but nothing wild) Is there a reason why Perriera left? Is there a reason why they still don't have a coach?? Could this all be tied to Olympiakos being brought down??
  14. The magic question is whether or not his ties with olympiakos will be pulled into this for match fixing and whether the club will get what they deserve
  15. If banning from stadium is the best the court system can do... then eimaste gia klammata
  16. Am I the only one who thinks Giannotas and Fortunis have starting roles at the gavro this year? They will do very well next year
  17. He's supported Alafouzo at every turn... he's called out the gavro at almost every press conference and has publicially announced his disdain for Marinaki and Olympiako... He's put into the media links between fixing/favoritism with the gavro... I mean what do you want him to do?
  18. Personally... i think its a shame that PAOK finished last.... Savvidis is actually a solid owner who is trying to make change... he is puting LOTS of money into the league and hasn't resorted to corruption or tricks to get his team 1st... His team deserves to be rewarded for what he is trying to accomplish Can't say that the other two teams, Asteras and Atromitos, have squeaky clean owners.....
  19. They schedule basketball games during the saMe tine football games are going ALL the time. .. Stop searching conspiracy
  20. Paok is seriously F***ed for next year... Gotta start games again in 3 weeks
  21. Katsourani had something to prove... Unfortunately this will be the last we see of marinaki.... he been horrendous this game
  22. Hey astera... ur favorite player just scored... The guy still got it!
