If it was before Uber times, I would urge you to rent a car. Without a car in Los Angeles you cannot survive. Now that there is Uber, I guess it will be fine. You will pay some money, but you avoid the parking. I used to live in Long Beach. If you are staying for two nights only I wouldn't recommend you to go there or even south. Stay close to downtown and preferably west of it. Hollywood or Santa Monica area is the best area to stay. Good nightlife is also around there. So, try to find a hotel somewhere in that area. Then, you will go to the Griffith Observatory which is a must go. So, my suggestion is to stay downtown and especially east of it. Don't even bother to go south of downtown (Compton, Downey, etc), you will regret it. Then southeast the Orange County is nice, but again for only two nights doesn't worth the travel. For example, Long Beach-Los Angeles if no traffic it's half an hour on the freeway, but if you do it in rush hour you can do an hour and a half or even more and regret it. Regarding beaches, do not even bother going to Manhattan or Redondo which are south of Santa Monica. They suck. It's nice in Huntington beach. Which is true if you are looking to see some asses and boobs. But again is kind of far. If you find a hotel in Hollywood, you will need at least an hour and a half to go to Huntington beach. And if you go to Santa Monica which is close to Hollywood you will get a pretty good sense of Los Angeles. And right next to Santa Monica is Venice beach which is also nice to walk and see what you see in the movies (basketball, open gyms, etc).

Whatever comes, let it come. If Savvidis continue buying good players we have nothing to be afraid of. We played against Ajax, Shaktar, and Schalke in the past. What worse can happen? And if we make it to the next round a big team is waiting for us anyway.

I really think Kace gave anything he had for PAOK. I don't think he feels comfortable anymore being a PAOK player. I like him and he has spent a decade in our team, but I don't think he will improve. Η ΑΕΚ έφερε ισοπαλία με Απόλλων στο ΟΑΚΑ, εκτός με τα Γιάννενα, Λάρισα, Ατρόμητο, Κέρκυρα, Ξάνθη (ισοφάρισε στο τέλος με την Ξάνθη να παίζει με 9). Έχασε από τον Αστέρα Τρίπολης και από τον Ατρόμητο στο ΟΑΚΑ. Να μην αναφέρουμε καν τα περί διαιτησίας (νίκη στη Λαμία με πέναλτι εκτός περιοχής κλπ). Στα θετικά της, κατάφερε να πάρει τα ντέρμπι. Με τον ΠΑΟΚ στο ΟΑΚΑ και με τον Ολυμπιακό μέσα έξω όπου είχε την τύχη και την ικανότητα να κάνει ανατροπές και στις δύο περιπτώσεις στο τέλος των αγώνων. Όπως επίσης και στη Λεωφόρο όπου και πάλι με τύχη πήρε την ισοπαλία στις καθυστερήσεις. Εμείς δεν θα πούμε όμως ότι δεν τα άξιζε, μαγκιά της. Αυτοί όμως μας λένε ότι 89 λεπτά στην Τούμπα δεν βάλαμε γκολ και άρα δεν αξίζαμε το πρωτάθλημα. Αυτοί όταν βάζαν γκολ στα τελευταία λεπτά και στις καθυστερήσεις είναι μαγκιά. Εμείς πρέπει να ντρεπόμαστε. Αυτοί μας λένε ότι ήταν αήττητοι και ιστορίες. Εμείς από το 2-2 με τον Πανιώνιο τον Νοέμβριο, είχαμε μόνο νίκες, μέχρι και το ματς με τον Ολυμπιακό το οποίο χάσαμε στα χαρτιά. Θα είχε αυτή την εικόνα αν δεν έγιναν όσα έγιναν με τον Ολυμπιακό; Εγώ λέω όχι. Και εκεί ακριβώς το πρωτάθλημα δεν κρίθηκε στο γήπεδο, αλλά στα χαρτιά. Και μετά φυσικά έρχεται το ματς με την ΑΕΚ όπου βάζουμε γκολ και μετά από 5-7 λεπτά ο διαιτητής το ακυρώνει χωρίς λόγο και αιτία, νταβατζιλίκι. Μπουκάρει ο Σαββίδης (μαλακία του μεγάλη) και χάνουμε το ματς στα χαρτιά 0-3 και τρώμε άλλο ένα -3. Και τώρα πάμε στη Λεωφόρο και όλοι περιμένουν να γκελάρουμε για να πούνε ότι δεν άξιζε ο ΠΑΟΚ το πρωτάθλημα και αντ' αυτού ο ΠΑΟΚ κάνει μεγάλο διπλό και η ΑΕΚ γκελάρει με την Κέρκυρα. Και έχουν πάθει πατατράκ όλοι οι Αθηναίοι. Και πλέον φοβούνται και τον τελικό γιατί βλέπουν και ξέρουν ότι η ομάδα τους είναι αρκετά ασταθής και απρόβλεπτη. Και μας λένε ότι ο τελικός είναι ένα παιχνίδι μόνο και δεν σημαίνει κάτι. Παίζουμε στο ΟΑΚΑ, στην έδρα τους εδώ και 15 χρόνια και προετοιμάζουν λίγο το έδαφος για πιθανή αποτυχία τους. Να γκρεμίζαμε εμείς την Τούμπα, να παίζαμε 15 χρόνια στο Καυταντζόγλειο, να ερχόταν ο τελικός εκεί και εμείς να ήμασταν πρωταθλητές; Θα τους λιώναμε, δεν υπήρχε περίπτωση. Δεν γουστάρω τον Λουτσέσκου και δεν με έχει πείσει ακόμα. Αλλά τουλάχιστον δεν λέει τις μαλακίες του Χιμένεθ. Όταν η Κέρκυρα ή ο Απόλλων ή οποιοσδήποτε έπαιξε για να πάρει αποτέλεσμα από την υπερομάδα του, βλέπει τον ΠΑΟΚ από πίσω και διαμαρτύρεται που δεν κάθισαν να χάσουν. Αυτό το τσίρκο, ο ζογκλέρ. Do you really believe the plans of the New Toumba are that ready to go? I wouldn't be surprised if they decide they need one more year to prepare and get signatures needed to start the New Toumba. Officially they never announced anything. Shouldn't they do a press conference share the maqueta and the timeline of the construction? I don't know, I am just guessing. I really hope they will start so fast and without obstacles, but I am afraid they will stall because of signatures and government paperwork. What I really want is the New Toumba to be the best stadium of Greece. Not sure what standards AEK's will be and if it will be better than Olympiakos', but I would really love to have a monumental stadium! I want the capacity no less than 35,000 and to look nothing but imposing.

Two games that Toumba was full never ended. Ten games without fans. They messed up with our fans so bad this year. I hope people will find courage and go to this one as Christos said. I really don't understand why Kerkyra played against AEK. It's obviously because Savvidis owns that team as well. It's a shame for PAOK to exist. PAOK should be banished from the Greek football once and for good. It's outrageous for teams to show up on the field and play against the deserved champion AEK. They do not have the decency to give the win to the best team of the Greece. Unbelievable. And don't forget that AEK played also in Europe this year. It's amazing what a war they received from the halifi Savvidi. But thankfully they won the well-deserved championship. All Greece celebrates with them.
