Obviously Lucescu wants the wingers to defend well. And I guess he trusts more Limnio and El Kaddouri. IMO we have to have the majority of our players in an excellent day to have any chances to progress over Benfica. Limnios for example had a pathetic game in Lisbon. Not that I blame him. But he has to really play a great game, otherwise this LB they have is going to mess up with us badly.

Μπράβο στους Πάνθηρες. Είδα το δεύτερο ημίχρονο της ΑΕΚ. Μετά το γκολ που δέχτηκε ήταν τραγική. Θέατρο. Πέφτανε κάτω με τη σειρά. Καθυστερήσεις και τσαμπουκάδες. Αν πάνε έτσι στο Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ δεν θα πάρουν ούτε βαθμό. Παρόλο αυτά, μεγάλη μαγκιά του Μελισσανίδη που μπήκε ομίλους με τα ψέμματα.

I agree Christo, but I also think that Estersund did us good also. We got a few decent players right after that elimination. Unless we would be getting them anyway.

If he finds a decent team abroad to be a starter, he should go!

I have xfinity Christo and I purchased the cheapest channels they offered. I am only using the internet, so I got the most basic channels they offer. Unfortunately, TNT is not one of them. I do have a tv, but I never watch. I only use it to plug my laptop with the hdmi to watch PAOK in a bigger screen. Hahaha. I quite tv somewhere in 2010. Ωωωωωωω ΠΑΟΚΑΡΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑ!!!!!!!

Παίξαμε πολύ άσχημα από το 60 και μετά. Ο Ελ Καντουρί και ο Ουάρντα έκαναν πάρα πολλά λάθη στο τελευταίο μισάωρο του αγώνα. Δεν μπορούν να βγάλουν 90λεπτο ξεκάθαρα. Είχαμε κάποιες φάσεις, δεν μπορέσαμε να βάλουμε γκολ, πήραμε ένα πέναλτι αμφισβητούμενο και στο τέλος θα μπορούσαμε να φάμε εύκολα γκολ αν ο Αστέρας είχε κανέναν σοβαρό επιθετικό να σκοράρει. Πολύ άσχημη εμφάνιση. Γεμάτο γήπεδο το μόνο ωραίο. Τώρα μόνο η Μπενφίκα μετράει, τα άλλα είναι κουραφέξαλα.

Πάντως πρέπει να περνάει ωραία ο κόσμος στη Θεσσαλονίκη μέχρι στιγμής. Δύο ματσάκια με Βασιλειά και Σπαρτάκ εντός τα κερδίσαμε, τώρα Αστέρα, μετά Μπενφίκα. Πάει καλά η σεζόν!

Βρε να αρπάξει τα γκολάκια του την Τρίτη και ας πάει να κάνει ότι θέλει. Εξάλλου εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια έπεσε και αυτό το κάστρο. Κάναμε Έλληνα τον Χολέμπας, τον άλλο του Παναθηναϊκού. Κάποτε θέλανε να παίξει και ο Καστίγιο στην Εθνική. Όλα για τα φράγκα και τις γκόμενες. Ποια Εθνική και κουραφέξαλα. Αν είναι καλός θα το παίξει Γερμανός, αν δεν είναι αρκετά καλός για να τον καλέσει η Γερμανία σε κάποια φάση θα γίνει Έλληνας.

So, Limnios will be out, if Pelkas will sit on the bench, we will probably see Biseswar, Warda, and El Kaddouri behind Prijovic. Not bad at all.

That's too bad for us Christo. I loved the fact of being able to buy something from PAE PAOK, even single games. Univision is one of the channels I do have, so I guess I will watch it there with the annoying Spanish commentator they will bring in. I guess after living for two years in Miami I should have been used to Spanish, but no.

I don't want to say anything negative after such a joyful day. We draw 1-1 and I loved it. But, since you want to tease me I will answer. In my opinion both Crespo and Canas shouldn't be starters. Did Canas score an incredible goal against Basel? Sure he did. Does this change my opinion? I am afraid not. Crespo can be humiliated by any skillful forward. His strength is limited and the opponents easily take good positioning in front of him. What we saw today is the best we can hope for and again, that's not good enough against solid forwards. If he has a role in the squad, hell yeah. With all those games coming, he will be extremely helpful. But I am skeptical we didn't get another CB with different characteristics than Khacheridi and I am really worried if we play against Champions League teams with Crespo or Canas as a starters. But you know what? Who cares? If we make it to CL stages I will be celebrating for the entire year. And we are PAOK for the craziness of it. I just write down my football opinions on them. I would be fine to go to Toumba and cheer for 90 minutes "Crespo, Crespo, Crespo" if that would lead us to the group stage of Champions League!

Mauricio is a great player. Only scumbags like Raptopoulos were criticizing him unfairly last year. I would love for him to stay and make a difference this year! And actually if he goes then we have a problem in that position. Pontus, Shakhov, Canas will be the only ones left plus Charisis who will allegedly be loaned out. You cannot go anywhere with only those three midfielders.

Obviously we didn't mean to sell Prijovic before the Benfica games. And no one wants to sell such a guy. I am just saying if a team from France or Germany or wherever comes and pays the 10 million, do you think Prijovic will say no? If we were playing Champions League (basically if we were Olympiakos of previous seasons) we would be able to sell players for 15 million or more. But as of now we have only sold players for 3 or 4 millions tops. I don't think we will be able to sell someone for 15 million before the team makes it to the Champions League. And the wins against Basel and Spartak are definitely towards that direction.

I love our roster and I think those experienced players as Pontus are really crucial for us. But let me chunk them by their age to see what we got this year. It's interesting with have no players at the age of 25-26. I also really like we don't have anyone above 32 besides Malezas. And those who are 32 are quite physical and I am sure for a couple years they can remain the same (Matos and Pontus). Maybe we have to slightly turn to younger players for our next transfers, but I really love the squad the way it is today! 30+ Ten players: Varela 30, Biseswar 30, Glykos 31, Canas 31, Crespo 31, Khacheridi 31, Matos 32, Pontus 32, Vieirinha 32, Malezas 33 27-29 Six players: Shakhov 27, El Kaddouri 27, Rey 27, Prijovic 28, Pashalakis 29, Mauricio 29 20-24 Nine players: Jaba 20, Limnios 20, Lamprou 20, Akpom 22, Mystakidis 23, Charisis 23, Warda 24, Pelkas 24, Kitsiou 24

If someone gives 10 million Prijovic is gone. And I am fine with it. That's how football works. If we can manage to buy someone for 1,9 and sell him for 10, I am very very happy. Of course because I know that Savvidis is going to bring a solid replacement. As for El Kaddouri or Warda. I really hope Warda doesn't leave the club. Especially for 2 or 2,5 million. I think this kid should stay and we should invest on him as a team. He really has the potential. He can help the team and he can be sold for at least two or three times that money. And he is one of the few that is still in a young age on our roster.

Come on pash, this is the first time you see a player putting his first name on the shirt? He didn't "change" his name nor even put a shortened version (like Salpi). Pontus is fine with me.
