Very tough game but we have to win. We cannot drop any points. Just hope the team will be mentally there for that game. If we drop points will be bad. We already have the -2, so it's like we tied the first match against Asteras. Straight wins and then hopefully smash AEX in a month.

Even in that scenario AEK won't be getting anything Christo. It is a good draw for AEK. They avoided a few more difficult opponents, but still I will be surprised if they don't win the fourth place of the group.

Λοιπόν, η ΑΕΚ θα κάνει ότι είναι να κάνει. Το θέμα είμαστε εμείς. Εμείς έχουμε μεγάλο range στην κλήρωση. Μπορούμε να πέσουμε σε πολύ δύσκολο όμιλο αν είμαστε άτυχοι και μπορούμε να έχουμε βατούς αντιπάλους αν είμαστε τυχεροί. Και συνήθως δεν είμαστε ιδιαίτερα τυχεροί. Στο πρώτο γκρουπ υπάρχουν ομάδες όπως η Άρσεναλ και η Τσέλσι, στο δεύτερο θα είμαστε εμείς και στο τρίτο υπάρχουν ομάδες όπως η Φενέρ, η Μπέτις, η Σπαρτάκ Μόσχας, η Μπάτε Μπορίσοφ, η Σταντάρ Λιέγης κλπ. Ακόμη και στο τέταρτο γκρουπ οι ομάδες είναι δυνατές όπως η Ζυρίχη, η Σλάβια Πράγας και η Βίντι η οποίο εύκολα θα μπορούσε να έχει αποκλείσει την ΑΕΚ αν δεν ειχε πάρει την κόκκινη στο πρώτο ματς. Καλή τύχη λοιπόν να έχουμε στην κλήρωση, γιατί αν πέσουμε σε όμιλο με Τσέλσι, Φενέρ και Βίντι, θα είμαστε δύσκολα!

The only positions we really needed starters were Canas and Crespo. We got Khacheridi and Pontus, but for different reasons they end up not being used. In the first case Crespo seemed in better shape and in the latter we waited for too long for a specific player. Don't think is Savvidis fault (who has no idea of football anyway), but those who make the decisions. I cannot say Savvidis didn't spend money. If you calculate transfer fees and salaries for Jaba, Pontus, Khacheridi, Akpom it is quite something, but unfortunately no one was able to help in CL qualification. I hope they will do in the long season we will be having.

We are PAOK and we enjoy going the tough route. We lost the championship last year, we lost from Benfica with a humiliating score, but yet, here we are, feeling proud for our team's performances. We play solid football, we attach, we don't hide, and we try to dominate (besides the first 60 minutes in Lisbon). I love that. And I think the ending will be great. Last year we were eliminated by Estersud, but the finale of the season brought so much proud to us. This year we didn't make it to CL, I hope the end of the year will bring even more proud with the league title and a solid run in the Europa League. ΠΑΟΚ είμαστε για όλα αυτά που δεν έγιναν.
