the job of the coaching staff at the academy is ,if they have a talented player he should be ready for first team football between the ages of 18-20 yrs of age. if the kid is scoring goals then he has talent,its the job of the coaching staff ,to keep him scoring goals ,develop those goal scoring instincts and help him make the jump from youth football to mens football,this is why they get payed,and if the kid struggled its their job to sort him out ,sometimes you might have to work at bringing the best out of some of these kids it doesn't happen by accident.

this youngster lambrou has scored something like 20 goals for the under 17s last season,the kid has it,its up to the coaching staff to bring him along and develop him,this was the whole plan 3 yrs ago develop youngsters and we have ended up with a team of old age pensioners. we are begging for our academy to develop a goal scorer and a creative midfielder,if they cant bring this kid up to scratch then something is very very wrong.

the national team is worse than a circus,a lot of the players playing for the national team PAY to play. I will give you a real life example of how greek football works, a club got promoted to 3rd division this season,new coach comes in ,gets rid of 14 players from the roster and another 5 that the previous coach in his report had recommended to be kept,the new coach also got rid of them. and he starts bringing in players from all over the place ,im checking their stats, they read 0 games - 0 goals from their previous teams,the 14 players he brought in all paid him 1.500 euros to play ,I asked a technical director of another club who im friends with ,why does he do that doesn't he want to develop a winning team and create something,the answer was no,he will do the same at his next club ,he doesn't care if he gets sacked. there is one 2nd division club charging 8.000 euros if you want to play for them. this also goes on for the national team.

I honestly don't think we have ever had a bad Scandinavian player,they are pros they work hard and always give you an honest 90 minutes.i was talking about this very subject with my neighbour the other day,how these Scandinavian players always perform,you get the odd one that doesn't but its not because of a bad attitude or lack of trying,i will go back as far as claus Nielsen who played for us early 90s I think ,he scored goals and I though was harshly delt with. but the Argentinian brings something to the table that other nationalities cant,flair ,creativeness the unexpected,this has to do with there up bringing and the way they approach the game. and we have rocha a life long panathinaikara with knowledge and contacts in that country but for some reason we just wont let him work.

if rocha was the TD we wouldn't have a lot of this useless rubbish we have now. here we have a guy with connections in argentina and other south American countries,who can get us players at the source before they hit it big and we appoint vokolos or dabizas,how many games did dabizas play for PAO ?

with rocha in charge for the time anastsiou has had,our roster would of looked a lot different., instead of andoniou if rocha was the technical director we wouldn't of wasted all that money on mellisiis and souza etc etc etc. they trust every tom dick and harry to be the TD but never rocha. the team rocha coached had a Argentinian called Borelli. but it is against some unwritten law at pao that we will not buy Argentinians and we will not listen to rocha.

I wonder what rocha could of done if he was in charge for the length of time anastasiou has been given,we must remember under rocha we have reached the semi finals in Europe twice once as a player and once as a coach.

as mentioned above he was versatile he filled in at left back under nioplia when we won the league and scored a crucial goal in Tripoli I think,he did a great job for us at left back,but he was on huge money which he never deserved and was incredibly mistake prone ,which has to do with lack of intelligence,couldnt trust him to play out from the back ,as a coach with vyntra you would say to him when you get the ball hit it long ,get rid of it,dont try and pass it.

vyntra was a good athlete,thats why he got a lot of playing time.

we got knocked out by xanthi in the cup ,that was not at the beginning of the season,we lost 4-2 to xanthi in the league that was not at the beginning of the season,to say we come home strong in the second half of the season is not correct.

asteras lost to panaitolikos,paok is losing to giannina and we got knocked out by kabala.
