  1. Apparently Tudor will field the following lineup, giving some players rest so they can be ready for the game against AEK on Sunday:

    ------------------- Olsen ---------------------

    Kitsiou -Tziolis -Tzavellas - Korovesis

    --------- Cimirot ----------- Charisis ------

    --- Jairo ------ Pelkas ---- Mistakidis ---

    ----------------- Klaus -----------------------

Hope Tudor knows what he's doing. Last time Tziolis played as CB against Xanthi we got destroyed 4:2.

  2. He came to Greece from Australia and played for Doxa Drama, Olympiakos and Paniliakos before he joining PAOK in 2000. He stayed on the team for 7 years before returning to Australia.

Not a favorite of mine. Used to make acrobatic dives going after the balls, but in most cases he would miss, but as Dutch Eagle mentions, we won 2 cups with him on the team.

  3. Apparently all parties involved agreed and the announcements will be made on Thursday (unless somebody changes their mind again). Vellidis is a solid keeper and better than Glykos, but definitively not worth the 650K that apparently we will be paying PAS Giannina.

In the meantime, just to mess things again, Tudor is strongly considering starting Olsen in tomorrow's game against Xanthi.

  5. The Vellidis deal is not done yet. Apparently the owner of PAS Giannina saw a cash cow in front of him and is demanding around 500K. Also, they are utilizing some agent tricks by planting news stories that some Belgian team is also interested in Vellidis in order to justify the 500K price tag.

Vellidis is a good keeper. Much better than Glykos, but for that kind of money you can get a better keeper. Athanasiadis from Panthrakikos comes to mind.

Tudor really screwed up the goalkeeper position, by openly saying that he does not trust Olsen. Things like that you keep to yourself, and keep the player on the bench, while Arnesen tries to resolve the situation
