  1. They mentioned teams from Germany, Holland and Turkey are interested. That's why I think it's a bs article. More likely a planted story by his agent who is shopping Pelkas around. I think if Lucescu's father becomes the Besiktas manager that I expect them to make an offer for the player.
  2. Charisis, Deligiannidis and Moulen are not wanted by the teams they were loaned to and as a result are returning to PAOK. Most likely they will be loaned again or be released by PAOK. The Turkish team likes Kitsiou and might make an offer to buy him. Some Athenian reports (ie. rumors) claim that a big offer for Pelkas will be coming very soon. Kace will not continue at PAO, but his agent claims he will go somewhere else and most likely outside of Greece. Varela's agent today said that they have been negotiating with PAOK for the past 6 months and that they have several offers including from Europe, but that he would advise Varela to take one of the offers from Saudi Arabia.
  3. Relax pash. The transfer period has not started yet. We will be making serious moves in midfield in my opinion.
  4. OFI wins the game 3:2 and will play in Superleague 1 next season. The winning goal was score in the 96th minute of the game.
  5. Some players are just stupid. In the relegation/promotion playoff game between OFI and Platanias the OFi player scores to give OFI a 2:1 lead and then takes his jersey off celebrating, forgetting that he already had a yellow card. Well he got a second one and had to leave the game. The ref is PAOK's "favorite" Kominis who in first half gave OFI a "maimou" penalty.
  6. Apparently Panathinaikos wants Warda whose contract expires in 2020. I think it might be more beneficial to PAOK to just sell him this transfer period. Otherwise we need to extend his contract.
  7. Another pre-season friendly was announced. July 9, 20:00 EEST: PAOK - PEC Zwolle
  8. Concernign Varela. Thank you for your services for the two of the 3 years, where he was a top notch defender in the Superleague. True professional who gave his best even though he already decided to leave the team. Good luck to him at Al Ahli. I still think there was a lot of behind the scenes moves by his agent. Last week he tried to peddle Stanciou to PAOK (see rumors from last week) and probably tried to make it part of the Varela deal. PAOK did not bite and as a result he took Varela to Al Ahli. Incidently Stanciou also just renewed with Al Ahli today.
  9. Looks like in Belgium they like Koulouris. Apparently both Standard Liege and Anderlecht Brussels want his services.
  10. I like bean too. Both Rowan Atkinson and fasolada. Pepito seems to be legit with a different outlook on these forums.
  11. Both teams knew about the ref switch since it was written in the match report and was signed by both teams. The reason they are peddling this issue is because they want EPO to fire Melo Pereira who oversees the refs. AEK and Olympiakos are working together to have Pereira fired and force EPO to stop using foreign refs for games in Greece. That is their eventual goal. They don't want replay the final, because they know it's a lost cause for them either way.
  12. This video/song made my day:
  13. Here is the schedule for the pre-season training: June 25 - June 30: first gathering of players/medical tests July 1 - July 11: first training camp at Apeldoorn, Holland (Hotel Bilderberg) - (3 pre-season games) July 12: friendly game against Universitatea Cluj (19:00 EEST, Cluj Arena, Cluj, Romania) July 13 - July 17: training sessions in Thessaloniki July 18 - July 27: second training camp at Horst, Holland - (4 pre-season games) July 28: return to Thessaloniki - preparations fro Champions League games August 6/7: Champions League game (QR3 - Leg 1) August 13: Champions League game (QR3 - Leg 2)
  14. Panionios failed to get a Superleague license for next season and will start with a -6 points just like Panathinaikos did last season. Panathinaikos and Panaitolikos also had question marks but got away with monetary fines.
  15. If Tachaios wins than it will show how brainwashed the people of Thessaloniki are. Tachaios was the vice-mayor of Thessaloniki when his boss Papageorgopoulos (Thessaloniki mayor, world class sprinter and Aris supporter) embezzled more than 25 million Euros. Tachaios was hand picked by Marinakis to run for mayor and is anti-PAOK to the bone. If he wins the new Toumba will be history.
  16. The paper clowns are looking at the possibility of filing a claim with EPO of improper use of referees. Apparently before the game two officials switched assignments without the teams being officially informed. They are hoping to have the final replayed. How much lower can this paper team go?
  17. Stafylidis never wanted to come back to PAOK. I can hardly blame him, but when he becomes 31 and knocks on the door I would hope whoever is running the team to show him the door. I like the fact the we might extend Henrique's contract until 2021. He has CL experience and will be a good option on the bench.
  18. Today Jaba's agent says that he is staying at PAOK for now and that they are not negotiating with Porto.
  19. Kyriakos Kyriakou during interview today confirmed that PAOK will play next season at Toumba Stadium, since there is delay in the new Toumba proceedings.
  20. The game against Turkey has been officially announced by EPO. It will be played on May 30, 2019 at Antalya Stadium in Antalya at 21:00 EEST. Also between May 22-29 the national team will take part in training camp in Apeldoorn, Holland before getting back to Athens for the two EURO games against Italy and Armenia.
  21. Sell him right away if this is true (which I doubt). He has not been the same player since he went to Portugal during a break, where supposedly he was shopped to Porto by his agent. Also Jaba is the only player that did not attend the player's dinner thrown by Savvidis following the Greek Cup. He left immediately for Brazil.
  22. In the 52 official games this season, 31 players were used by Lucescu. Here is table with statistics: RANK PLAYER MINUTES GAMES GOALS SUPER LEAGUE GOALS GREEK CUP GOALS EUROPE GOALS TOTAL 1 Paschalakis 4664 49 0 0 0 0 2 Crespo 4373 47 1 0 0 1 3 Matos 4134 45 3 3 0 6 4 Varela 4126 45 2 0 1 3 5 Vieirinha 3083 37 5 1 0 6 6 Biseswar 2933 40 8 2 0 10 7 Mauricio 2743 32 5 0 0 5 8 Pelkas 2645 39 3 1 2 6 9 Shakhov 2616 38 5 0 0 5 10 Limnios 2532 37 1 1 1 3 11 Jaba 2429 40 3 2 2 7 12 Prijovic 2135 27 9 3 5 17 13 Canas 2110 27 0 1 1 2 14 Akpom 2040 33 6 2 0 8 15 El Khaddouri 1979 32 1 0 1 2 16 Tosca 1225 16 0 0 0 0 17 Oliveira 1104 15 3 0 0 3 18 Warda 1047 22 0 0 1 1 19 Wernbloom 957 16 0 1 0 1 20 Giannoulis 876 13 0 0 0 0 21 Khatcheridi 748 11 0 0 0 0 22 Swiderwski 628 14 4 2 0 4 23 Ingason 509 6 0 0 0 0 24 Karelis 502 10 0 3 0 3 25 Henrique 485 9 3 0 0 3 26 Misic 386 10 0 1 0 1 27 Kitsiou 376 5 0 0 0 0 28 Rey 282 3 0 0 0 0 29 Malezas 272 4 0 0 0 0 30 Lyratzis 157 4 0 0 0 0 31 Balogiannis 28 1 0 0 0 0 Paschalakis and Crespo played in all 30 Superleague games without substitutions.
  23. Add the Greek Cup and double to the team accomplishments this season.
  24. It's official following today's results in Premier League. We will start our European campaign in QR3 in August. Also it looks like Ajax clinched the Dutch title, so they might be one of our potential opponents.
