If we don't win this game we will drop to 5th place in the standings. The difference today is that AEK converted on their penalty kick in Larisa and we did not. The are now easily beating Larisa 2:0 and we will struggle to come up with a goal.

Watched the game. Panathinaikos was lucky not to lose the game. Olympiakos just dominated. Panathinaikos with 3 attempts scored 2 goals, although Olympiakos's goal was lucky as well. Glad the unbeaten record still stand.

Today there was a friendly between the senior team and the U19 team in order for some players to get some playing time. In the video we can see our new signings (Baba Rahman, Radonjic) as well as Jaba and Augusto. Don't remember seeing Colak in the video.

They fixed the pitch about 2 years ago, and at that time it was one of the best in Greece. Probably in top 5 of SL stadiums. The problem though is that what they call a fix is just stripping the old one and laying down a new "carpet". Sadly they never invested in a drainage system (not too many stadiums in Greece do). And if you are in a place like Epirus where it rains a lot, you are in trouble without a drainage system. That's why it is a recurring problem. So they switched the game to be played in Athens at the Atromitos stadium. Now before each season starts, each team has to disclose a second (alternative) home pitch in case the first pitch is not ready. PAS Giannina's alternate pitch is Kleanthis Vikelidis in Thessaloniki, so I don't understand why the game has been rescheduled to Athens.

I watched the game as well, and one thing I have to say. Mitroglou is a has been veteran player. He should be retiring instead of playing competitive football. There is talk of bringing him back to the national team. I would hope our NT coach is smarter than that. That's a pretty good result. It leaves everything open and I expect a "big battle". Let's not forget that the return leg takes place only 3 days before our game with them in SL.

I think the 3 goal difference should be enough. Also it's quite obvious that Krmencik should be our starter and main forward.
