  1. Big save by Kotarski to prevent 2:0.
  2. 1:0 AEX. Bad defensive play by Koulierakis and Dantas.
  3. Starting lineup. Nice to see the youngster Konstantelias getting a start over Biseswar and El Kaddouri.
  4. Zivkovic and El Kaddouri still no practices as of today, which makes it pretty slim that they will travel to Athens. Polish officiating crew for this one.
  5. PAE AEX has announced a sold out for the game against PAOK. They are confident that they will win this game. It's up to us to ruin their enthusiasm. Going into this game PAOK has only Sastre for the RB position and Soares for the LB position available. Two players that hardly played this season. I am sure both will play. Hopefully they will be up to the task. I hope Lucescu will not resort to using players not playing their positions. Zivkovic and El Kaddouri did not practice today. it remains to be seen if they will be available for Sunday's game.
  6. We have a 7 game unbeaten streak against AEK away in Superleague. Let's see if we can extend it (doubt it).

  8. Yes you are.
  9. Thankfully I did not invest my valuable Sunday time to watch this disaster.
  10. The 2022-2023 Greek Cup has entered Round 6 and this is the stage where the teams that played in Europe will enter the competition, including PAOK. The following teams will enter the draw for Round 6 (Round of 16): Superleague 1 Teams PAOK Thessaloniki NFC Volos Levadeiakos Atromitos Athens AEK Athens Aris Thessaloniki PAS Lamia Panathinaikos Athens Olympiakos Piraeus Superleague 2 Teams PO Kalamata Athens Kallithea Panserraikos Kifisia Apollon Pontou Amateur Cup Winner Teams Aghios Nikolaos Apollon Paralimni
  11. Round 5 of the Greek Cup has completed. Here are the results: NFC Volos - Ionikos Nikaias 4:0 AE Larisa - Levadeiakos 1:2 Kalamata - Panaitolikos Agrinio 2:2 (4:3p) Kallithea - NFC Veroia 1:0 Panserraikos Serres - Panahaiki Patra 5:2 (aet) Almopos Aridaia - PAS Lamia 0:2 AO Aghios Nikolaos - Almyros 2:0 Ionikos Ionias - Apollon Paralimni 0:4 Panelefsiniakos - Apollon Pontou 1:3 Asteras Tripolis - Atromitos Athens 1:3 (aet) Kifisia - OFI 1:0 AEK Athens - PAS Giannina 2:0 The above 12 teams that qualified will be joined by PAOK, Panathinaikos Aris and Olympiakos in the draw for Round 6 of the competition.
  12. In today's Volos - Ionikos Greek Cup game Koutsias scored the first two goals for Volos. The game is still going on, so hattrick is a possibility.
  13. Yes the goal should be to win the four games and give it all against AEK and get at least a tie. Yesterday with the win we erased the bad result against OFI. Win against AEK away would erase the bad result against Levadeiakos. However all that is wishful thinking as I believe we might stumble against the likes of Tripoli and Volos.
  14. First Greek athlete to qualify for the 2024 Olympics is Anna Korakaki in shooting, following her silver medal in the World Championships.
  15. XXXIII Summer Olympic Games Paris, France July 26, 2024 - August 11, 2024
  16. Lyratzis, Ingason, El Kaddouri and Narey our best players. Weak link was Tsaousis. Also don't see a reason why Kurtic keeps playing non-stop.

  18. Final score Olympiakos - PAOK 1:2 Should have been 1:3, but ref robbed us taking back the penalty. Big win. Hopefully this will be the turning point for PAOK going forward.
  19. Tsaousis injured. Sastre in to play LB.
  20. I don't believe VAR overturned the penalty. This is unbelievable!
  21. Poor half for PAOK. We got lucky to get the lead but after that it was all Olympiakos that was pressing for the equalizer, which they got eventually. We have a problem keeping possession. Unless we improve in the second half we are looking at an easy win for Olympiakos.
