I watched the game on mute on my phone while attending meetings all day, so I couldn't hear the commentators or anything. But I thought this was hilarious: amazing that two own goals happened I had to do a triple take when the sprinklers kept starting up I'm liking Ekong I'm also liking Tsiggaras Beautiful "assist" by Konstantelias I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I am SOOOO over Augusto Tsiggaras + the possible Russki buy should be more than enough to cover Augusto. We'll likely come out ahead on the deal, both in terms of transfer fee costs and salary. I think we still need another attacking midfielder. I don't think Taison is it; someone needs to push Konstantelias. Do we need another winger as well? I think probably.

OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH

Lineup:

Is that where the Matterhorn is located?

Everyone is replaceable! We must not forget that. Augusto is nothing particularly special (though I will grant that I am historically more skeptical than most about this guy).

7 million would be a good return

It's almost like PAOKSYD is not actually a PAOK fan ?

Yeah, Krasnodar was a legit team

Perhaps they'll use proceeds from that sale to buy Siopis Maximovic, btw, would cost us sooo much more than 3.5mm. I find that reported # to be very unlikely.

Tsaousis requesting to be let free because the team wants him to ride the bench. I definitely don't blame him. Possible destinations include Panaitolikos and Lech Poznan.

Wasn't he their player of the season last year? Hopefully he continues to improve. Lucescu was never going to play anyone under the age of 28 anyway. Gordeziani seems to have been the only striker we had who could score during preseason, but why bother with him amirite

Dantas may be heading to AZ Alkmaar. No chance of him coming back after Boto left, of course. A shame, kid has talent (but overpriced).

?never ? ?get ? ?back ? ?with ? ?your ? ?ex! ?

Please be good please be good please be good

Game is currently on, and it's a veritable goalfest

I doubt it. As soon as these reports came out, they started noting that "many European teams" are interested in him. I think what's more likely, is that his agent spread the rumor, targeted a few teams that have a need in that position, and then let it spread. The player has a contract through 2026 so this is probably just a way to signal to his team that he wants out.

Also: sounds like Colak is going to Parma, which will net us another 300k from that resale. So we paid three million, sold for 2.5, got another 300k. At least that helps lessen the pain.

Was just talking to my Connecticut-based sweetheart about this. Would be a bit of an overpayment if you go by that website's values. But we need a good a attacking mid (though I can't comment on if this guy is good or not). That is even if we don't sell Konstantelias.

Augusto must be more hurt than they claimed...

So not Friday! A shock! So that means Monday, and FOR SURE arriving in the Netherlands on Wednesday?

Hahaha that's very well said. Like how does someone who played like his does, fail in INDONESIA? Huge red flag. Maybe he started smoking those clove cigarettes they got over there. Those are killers!

Player was expected in Thessaloniki last Monday, then last Friday, then on Sunday. Can't wait for Friday to roll around and to see the sites breathlessly exclaiming that he'll be SKG on Sunday haha

Couple of nice little runs by our star there. Saw a post on some site a few days ago that they were trying to set up another friendly as well (against some Saudi team?). I think this team can use all the practice it can get. Clock's ticking.

We are unstoppable! 4/5th of all goals scored by us!

Yikes
