So we'd cover these wages for the rest of the year, or each year of their new contracts? Seems pretty crazy of a deal.
-
If his heart's set on returning home, there's no way he's coming to us. I would bet good money that he has at best an antipathy towards a club that has so much bad blood with his current one. I see Kace + Konstantinidis being added to that deal as a way for us to reduce wages/a bloated roster. Where are you getting the 300k + 150k from? By applying a discount to transfermarkt's valuation, or is that their wage bill?
-
InPAOK's lineup: --Pashalakis-- --Matos--Varela--Crespo--Vieirinha-- --Mauricio--Cimirot-- --Campos--Pelkas--Limnios-- --Prijovic-- Canas may get a start over one of the other two. Good lineup in my opinion. No real surprises though.

I'm seeing articles going both ways. I guess we'll know soon enough. I would be fine with keeping Poungouras as our fourth CB.
-
inPAOK says 800k. What do you want to bet neither are right This follows a few days of stories where apparently Savvidis essentially said he doesn't want to kick PAO when it's down (by getting the player free).
-
Oly just fired Lemonis. Hopefully this will result in more of a slump, instead of a resurgence.
-
Is this guy that good?
-
Reading now that Azevado is a six-month loan. I like that, myself.
-
Agreed, it's looking more and more likely it'll be him. I think we were linked with Moledo as well - a club in Turkey offered 500k for him, but the player wants to return to his home country. InPAOK reporting that we're offering 1.75mm for Bogdan Stancu, who plays as striker for Bursaspor. I believe he's an active international as well (Romania, if you couldn't guess by the name). Here's one of those highlights vids:
-
Canas reportedly rejected Cadiz's interest No word yet on a left back, but should hopefully be in the next few days
-
Legia Warsaw interested in borrowing Kace. Seems they don't have the funds to buy anyone (thus the loan). It would be a good move for him to go there. Hell, give him to them for 1.5 years.
-
Definitely the most absurd
-
Spanish press says Cadiz CF (who play in the Segunda division) are interested in Canas. I'm very doubtful on this one; I don't think they can afford him.
-
Kakkos is being loaned back to Panserraikos, as was rumored before. His previous loan with Nea Salamis was terminated. Savvidis is back in Thessaloniki today to approve future transfers. I had read that they were planning on getting players signed before Christmas so that the new guys would have as many training sessions as possible before the second half of the season began, but unsurprisingly this did not happen.
-
Klaus (and three other players) are not training with the squad for disciplinary reasons. One week's worth. Perhaps related to their desire to get rid of him.
-
Some more rumors/news: Natcho denying that he made a secret trip to Greece in the last few days to re-sign with us. I think he's a great player but our midfield is absolutely stacked and I couldn't possibly see this happening...maybe if we sold Shakhov, Cimirot, AND Kace... Heard of a rumor as to Alin Tosca on twitter (thanks Angelo), a possible six-month loan to see out the end of the year. He is a left back and center back who plays for Real Betis (though hasn't gotten much time this season). Part of Romania's national team. I actually like the idea of a loan for that position, as Giannoulis will be back next season and I really don't think they're going to ditch Leveque. Poungouras linked with Kerkyra, presumably for a loan. They could use the help.
-
I would be very surprised if another Greek team is his first choice, for sure!
-
InPAOK and PAOK24 have been posting about him intermittently for a few weeks now. Take with a grain of salt!
-
I'd prefer him as well. He also knows the realities of playing in the super league
-
Last I had heard about Hult, we were considering offering his back wages + a *very* small fee for him. Would those back wages be included in that 5mm debt that needs to be paid off by PAO by spring? Another name we're linked with, Mehdi Taremi (CF who plays in Iran). I could swear that we've been linked with him in the past. He's been suspended for four months and will be eligible to play January 20th). https://www.transfermarkt.com/mehdi-taremi/profil/spieler/307058

Seems strange that ofi is even still in business. They did go bankrupt, what, two years ago?
-
Another LB rumor, Benfica's Eliseu. Too old IMO. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eliseu/profil/spieler/14192
-
One of the many, many problems with that country
-
Here comes another rumor, this time for left back: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marcio-azevedo/profil/spieler/55484 It would be very much a Michel move to get yet another Ukraine-based player. The other rumored option for that position, from a week or so ago, was Safi (from Panionios, who scored in their last cup match). He is one of the two players that were banned from their NTs due to Panionios playing Maccabi Tel Aviv. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ehsan-haji-safi/profil/spieler/77547

If they were adults, they wouldn't be throwing flares when they know we're going to be fined every single time.
