I'll reserve judgement on the worthiness of the cards. I will say, though, that the ref kept control of the game which was VERY important. I am just as weary of our guys' reactions to the ref as I am of the other factors. When all is said and done, the result doesn't harm our chances for the title that much, and Jaba's absence for one game isn't that important (and honestly, it wouldn't be that big of a deal if he were out vs Olympiakos either - there, I said it). we have a deep bench for a reason, after all.

Not sure what Lucescu would do. I'd probably consider putting Pelkas on for Akpom and letting Biseswar/El Kaddouri go back to the extreme edges. Play our #10 as a false 9, perhaps. I also am worried about Shakhov and Vieirinha - I smell more cards coming. Misic and Tosca may be of help here...

True, might be better to do decently in EL than get utterly destroyed in CL. Except for the cash. Who would be the powerhouse signings? A right-back, a left-back, and a winger? Or a striker? Or are you thinking a replacement for Mauricio in the middle (in addition to Oliveira)?
